Hi guys, the time has finally come.

Here is an interest list for the new Updated Hero prop ''Tool'' Grail diary 2.0.

A Holt Grail diary with scribbles, hints, clues, illustrations mixed with a ton of new invented illustrations with a spot on Henry handwriting faithfull to the original. No story, no personal thoughts only illustrations and clues as it should be!! A Tool used in search for the Holy Grail.

These new ones will be made in calfskin like the original. The leather is going to be handcut, handshaven, handdyed and handtooled.
These are constructed with a Kettle stitch bound in with two cloth strips, then armored with a grid cloth and secured with a spine cover.
The paper is 100grams egg white colored. Then aged in the same style as the hero prop.
Packed with inserts all made with different types of paper and placed in a way so it matches the insert placements seen on screen.
Diary comes with Certificate of autenticity

Choice of a bound in or ripped out Map of no names will be yours. So will the Riddler signature be and you can also choose if you want the border upright or flipped like in 1912. Just let me know and I will make it so.

These diaries are not your every day diaries hence the price, these are high end collectibles, these are built strongly but looks 40 something years old. They are handmade by me in the most absolute faithfull way to resemble the real one Henry Jones carries around with him for over half his life. I myself have studied this prop for 30+ years and making these books allways becomes my own personal quest by getting the magic into it.

All I need is your interest. No payment upfront. Let me know here or in DM's or email for those who got my email.

Price may go up depending on interest and material cost.

I am from Norway so I need you to transfer the payment in Norwegian kroners becuase of the currency course change all the time.

Price for one diary will be 18000,- Norwegian kroners with equals to 1620 usd + shipping. (but depends ont he currency)

FYI. Price has gone up slight due to high interest (not only here) and I needed to recalculate all my expences on the high quality calfskin, high quality paper and a high quality Laser jet expenses, let alone the time I use on these.

Just down below I am showing my personal grail diary, (which is now sold) and its twin brother. (which has also been sold )

All diary covers will be made in the same style and somewhere inbetween these two covers shown. The diaires will be made with all the care and love as I deeply care about these items and I want the new owner feel the magic of having a Henry's grail diary!

A video showing how it moves and flips

Count me in, please! Your work is breathtaking and I have been dreaming of the day that you started up a diary run since I discovered your previous COW run far too late. I'm thinking of getting it with the upright border and signature, but not sure which map option is best. What are your expert thoughts on bound vs ripped out?

Thank you mate. Much appreciated. Sounds like a good option. My personal opinion about the map is this. I allways see the diary as piece that has now become a museum piece if you will. All the research, travels and adventures are behind Henry now. So, it should have Riddler signature and the map of no names ripped out telling the whole story of the book and the adventures its been on. To me thats just magical.

Wow… I’ve been waiting for this!! Count me in Indiana Holt!

Map and sig ripped out, with the upright border.

Please could you remind me of the differences between your various diaries (sorry, I searched and couldn’t find an easy reference)? Looking at my years-old must-have-before-I-die prop ‘wish list’, I’m pretty certain this is THE ONE!!

I appreicate that mate! Thank you.

The differences is this. This particular diary is like if the Grail diary is a real book and not a prop with repeated pages going over and over again to fill in the makebelief book.

No, this particular one showcased is Henry's real life book with clues, scribbles and illustrations all leading up to the Holy grail.

My hero prop replica is just that, a replica of how the Grail diary really is. (but I dont sell that one)

So, truly, this book your looking at is the one to get if you want the full diary experience.

I'm definitely interested!! Been following your work for some time, and I'm going to work up a hand drawn tool style diary! Would love to add one of these to my collection.

It will be my pleasure. I will start mplaning everything out this week and get to work. I just ordered premium calfskin. Will go out and buy a load of paper tomorrow

Hey Indiana Holt ! 2 quick questions that I forgot to ask. These are just out of curiosity so that I know what to expect:
1) Are the inserts pasted, loose, or a combination of the 2 based on what makes sense for the specific insert and its in-story purpose?
2) Since you called out this cool detail in one of your other threads- is there an X above the Venice Knight's head? Or is that just limited to your 1912 version?

Hey.
1) Exactamundo! Its a combo. Flipping the diary one time and then picking up the inserts afterwards aint such a jolly if you ask me. So maps and letters are pasted, tickets are loose as they somehow stay seated in the spine while flipping. The two tickets that are pasted is the october and september. It all is done in the style of the hero prop. (combo - paste and loose)
2) I stopped using thay X when I did the first run as folks did not care all to much for it. Some wanted it, most did not. So for this run I am gonna leave it out unless you really really want it I can make that happen ofc.

I only will use the X for my 1912 toolers with textured paper, IF I am going to make more. Really dont know yet.

Hope this answers your questions. :)

Btw, first diary was shipped today.
