Just one little question: Only full sets with gun and all parts, or can parts be bought one by one? For example, i only need the scopemount, and maybe a flashhider - cause i already have the MGCs, some real Hensoldts, .....

And will there be a special arrangement for the people who have contributed, or the same deal as for the "i have no idea, done nothing helpfull, just wanna buy some parts"-bunch? :lol

All of the parts except the C96 bases will be offered in the first run, and they will be offered individually so people can grab what they need. We may even be able to offer grouped kits also such as Aluminum part sets and Steel part sets.

When it comes to special arrangements for people who have contributed, unfortunately I don't think we will be able to do much. Even Pat and I aren't getting any price cuts or free parts, so All of us will be getting these for whatever it costs get them made. :thumbsup

so...

Since I know you guys are waiting anxiously, I am posting some pics of the "unfinished" FH and Mount.

These are not the finished parts. These are test parts used to shake out the problems and get all the details right.

So with that in mind I am posting these sheets to satisfy the curiosity for now.

There are some details and surfacing that needs to be done better but I think you will see that they are looking good so far.

I tried a (very) quick color finish on the FH to show the difference between the raw metal and a darker colored finish. You can see that the details look more like the HERO when colored, but this is where we need to be sure we don't overdo something.

... notice how the bullet knurls look way different when in raw metal than colored? The reflections make them look much bigger than they are.

The colored part really looks like the HERO. Just some tweaks to make for perfection!

Same for me, just white squares with red "x" - on my Notebook, on my Netbook, and on my comp in the office, too.

Connection with the usual speed, and i can see the earlier posted flashhider pic.
