I think we’re talking about two different parts. The pink part I posted isn’t in the JPS as far as I can tell. The part on the waistband is.

The one in pink on the left was the one I thought was in question ( with Eagle 1’s post).
Fantastic work you’re doing and great contributions from the other dedicated members here. Am in awe.
Oops, sorry guys...my minds donor kit scrambled...checked my notes & its Tamiya 1/18 McLaren M8A!.

May I recommend checking out the latest of Stuart Browns excellent series of videos which discusses this part.
His thread here and his Youtube channel are a must for any Falconer.

No, I don't think so. The flared end is not the same distance from the center tube.

Dear Lord, how did I miss this? I've stared at the scans of the McLaren more than my own kids' faces. I feel dumb.
This is the last piece we need for the top rear section. Any ideas?

No, that's not a match -- I think it's either Hanomag or 8rad, IIRC.

Hanomag #A21 is this piece -- does that seem like a match to your eye:
It could be. It's hard to tell without the McLaren piece. I guess I'm going to have to break down and make that one my next purchase.

The first one has clean, sharp edges below the hole (not good), the Hanomag #A21 has the rounded edge below the hole (good)
