Amazing Spiderman Suit using TaylorMcManus' print (Pic Heavy) (Suit Complete!)

Re: Amazing Spiderman Suit using TaylorMcManus' print (Pic Heavy)

The pattern is designed for two zippers to extend from the armpits, down the sides, meeting under the belt.

Cheers Nick :thumbsup you never seem to fail with the awesome info when needed :lol

Re: Amazing Spiderman Suit using TaylorMcManus' print (Pic Heavy)

Do you think it's possible to just have a zipper on the back part of the belt? and not everywhere else

You couldn't fit in through that space, it would be too small of an opening.

Re: Amazing Spiderman Suit using TaylorMcManus' print (Pic Heavy)

Are there any other methods people are using besides the arm pit zippers?
I plan on wearing this on Halloween and drankin.
On my other suits I had a crotch zipper on the side but this looks tricky.

Re: Amazing Spiderman Suit using TaylorMcManus' print (Pic Heavy)

Is there any other way, that's easier to put it on with less zippers?

You can put one on the back from the middle of the head down to the lower back, but they're hard to hide that way, and it's really not any easier to get into...it's still usually a two person job.

Zippers are like $5 a piece, sewing in a zipper is similar to sewing any other seam, and having two make a flap gives you a wider entrance to get in and out of. There really aren't many reasons to use another zipper location.

I just want to be able to put it on myself with the least amount of zippers possible lol

I want to get the removable hood but I am terrified of the "skin neck gap".
I am losing sleep deciding zippers and hood. Seriously. Nerd Alert!

Re: Amazing Spiderman Suit using TaylorMcManus' print (Pic Heavy)

You could always buy one of my masks once they're finished and just trim the Taylor suit to fit. ;)

I was hoping for a response like that.
Just praying the reds would match.

I would love a V-neck suit like the movie,
Just need a tailor familiar to our cause....

Re: Amazing Spiderman Suit using TaylorMcManus' print (Pic Heavy)

I can garauntee that they won't as mine is screen printed on top of actual red lycra, whereas Taylor's suit is dye sub'd lycra. If you look at both Taylor's and MCL34N's prints they can appear washed out or pastely, this is beacuse of the printing process, this is what I was trying to avoid. But to answer your question, no, they probably won't. Sorry.

Re: Amazing Spiderman Suit using TaylorMcManus' print (Pic Heavy)

Neither Taylors or MCL34N's prints look washed out to me.

Re: Amazing Spiderman Suit using TaylorMcManus' print (Pic Heavy)

I for one would love a mask to display with my web shooters. ;):thumbsup

You might want to buy a new monitor if your seeing Taylor's and MCL34N'S work as washed out, the colors are spot on.
