i am sure that i was the first......but is there anyone else now who has ALL of the REAL parts for the OWK ANH saber?

I know Serafino is lacking the grenade only by choice....

and a few others of you are lacking only the grenade or only the interconnect....

I've got a real grenade (not exact, but close), real clamp, real booster, and real handwheel. Doubt I'll ever come across a real balance pipe or transistors though. :unsure

What type of transistors do you have?? :p

Lets see some pics..

The last I heard the tranisitors still were not identified. The leading theory seemed to be Motorola transitors with a smudged stamp. Has there been a break through?

I have everything but the gear and a real windvaine.

However, I am still undecided about whether I will use my real grenade or a more accurate replica. I, like Serifino, am unhappy with about every grenade I come across.

Mine's inaccurate but pretty close.

See My Saber .

The emitter is a 16-hole original Derwent but a little less than prop accurate and the AS handwheel is the newer model (for now), but I do have original transistors with "MA" markings. :)

Oh...why do you torture us with the very serious and obvious lack of PICS..

There may be another who chooses to remain anonymous. ;)[/b]

or just waiting... ;)

But I know that you've had grenades in the past, right?

But where is your PICTURE.. Pics. Pics. :D

Someone say "waiting?"

:confused

KD I have indeed had grenades in the past. My last one is now sitting quietly in an arms collection, safe from being turned into an inaccurate saber. ;)

Waiting... gosh that word gives me the strangest sensation of guilt for some reason... :confused

I've had so many of these parts slip through my fingers I just don't care anymore...I've owned parts sold parts etc...

I will be happy with my very good and accurate replica once finished to go with my other 5 versions of this saber and be done with it.

Bravo to those who have the ability to collect all the parts needed...I'll be happy with the couple of real parts I have.

kurtyboy has one but I'm not finished with it yet. I'm still weathering the grenade naturally.

It has a real AS hadnwheel (the correct vintage one), real booster, real clamp, real bubble strip, real transistors, real grenade, but replica emitter. I'm surre with all the luck kurtyboy has had with engines it's only a matter of time until he has a real correct emitter.
