The ten turn is a JPL as is the "crispy" and the acrylic emitter....

Oh cool, thanks for the info - so, that's these bits, correct?

No, thats not Jon Paul as he has no interest in anything other than TOS props.

I have done business with him for parts as they are quite nice.

The phaser does have one of his early adjustable barrels...

I can state for certain he doesn't have the skill to do the type of aging involved on the fraud phaser. I know several people who own some of his "museum quality replicas" and let's just say R. Shanko does much better work...

RJS does far better mids than JPL's which tend to be a lighter grey on the P2 as he tends to prefer the mid's that were painted like the crap's early on in season 2

In some of my conversations with Ron on FB he stated he got to examine and take detailed measurements and notes on the West Coast Collectors.

Here is a picture of one I own that was made by him: View attachment 1731171View attachment 1731172

...so certain, are you?

I am certain on my RJS mid is very nicely done, is it 100% or 95% accurate honestly I don't care. It is a nice midgrade and I like it.

Based on phasers he's built for some of my close friends I honestly think Ron does better work.

Mind you I COULD very well be wrong, yet I base this on his work I've seen and held in my hands.

Just so I'm clear - you're saying this Heritage phaser *does* have one his early barrels on it?
100% beyond any doubt at all.

I will make this clear I am NOT an expert on phasers and the original parts yet I know HIS parts as I do use them.

For half a second, I nearly had a stroke because I thought yet another fake was up for auction. But, no, this is the Jein hero.
*Hands Gregatron a cold drink and some Aleve, gets him a recliner and pillow for his feet*

C'mon man, don't have a stroke on us! We're still waiting to see what you do with the NX-0002!!!
