To be fair, there are many incredible lawyers in this world who actually LOVE the law and genuinely want to help people. And some of them are prop nerds as well.

The problem comes from the money grabbers that get all of the news.

The fact he was actually a lawyer is what made him be so bold

The whole thing smacks of huge ego and arrogance. Particularly “signing” the “hero” auction fraud with TREK references for the fake consignor’s names.

I would not be surprised if he threatened to sue the auction house if it didn't sell for what he was expecting

Considering the rumblings about bribery within the auction house to push the fakes though, threats of litigation are well within the realm of possibility.

It's a JPL midgrade phaser forgery as it's being described in Ticonderoga as the "Jein Midgrade phaser"

I actually find them annoying....

Yet this is the only phaser I own that I've never had any desire to do any mods to for whatever reason...

I always thought it was the excess wear and tear on the paint job in all the areas that the hands would come into contact with the proves they are the REAL DEAL....... lolzzzz
