Touch a nerve there did I....??.... Your review of my review is just plain wrong on practically all levels...so let's review your review, so I can review it....Really?
Never breaks any real new ground? Really?
-New component to the xeno's life cycle, never before seen. (The cocoon)
-Explains for the first time how xenos can sometimes grow so fast, other times take longer. NEVER previously addressed

"Tired and Repetetive"
Why? because there were people, in space, fighting xenos... like every other Alien movie? That *IS* what this movie is. How different would it have to be before the complaint would change to: "nothing like an Alien movie... completely forgets what the franchise is about"?
"Borrowing so heavily from all of the Alien films before it"
That was rather the point of this: to weave them ALL together and attempt to make a disjointed set of films scattered over 4 decades actually WORK together. I actually appreciate that Fede Alvarez attempted to embrace the previous lore, and attempted to make it make sense with it's individual components, rather than just saying "Fuk it, Imma do my own thing, and who cares about what came before".
Im sorry, but your one line review sounds tired, repetitive, and never breaks any real new ground as it relates to reviews.
3/10

Spoiler Ahead....
Alien Romulus is all the other Alien movies, shoved in a blender and then spilled out onto the floor. Also the giant man alien at the end is laughable as a monster and/or alien.
I'm right, you're wrong...the end. Your entitled to your opinion, but your wrong.
I give your review of my review that is now reviewed a BIG 0/10
Call had sufficient self determination to rebel, and self loathing is a very human emotion. Andy is what Rain's father programmed him to be. Then, once he gets upgraded he is what WY programmed him to be. Call's line were massacred because they could not be reprogrammed, they had free will and are therefore closer to humanity by definition . It's in the dialogue...I dont think Call came as close to humanity as Andy. Maybe that's just down to Winona'a acting but I didnt buy her as genuinely human.
She definitely WANTED to be. She had ridiculous amounts of self loathing related to being a synthetic. But I didnt see her genuinely caring for anyone besides Ripley... and I felt that was because she didnt see Ripley as fully human, either.
It's all good. I think the exuberance with which they retorted shows the nerve that was touched in fact lies within themselves.Wow dude... wanna back over her a few more times with the tractor?
"He", huh?Well he did attack me and said this.....I'm sorry, but your one line review sounds tired, repetitive, and never breaks any real new ground as it relates to reviews...I don't think this person is sorry at all
So I'm having a big cry about someone attacking me online...
All jokes aside, everyone is entitled to an opinion and I think Alien Romulus is a steaming pile of excrement....It' not ok to attack someone for their opinion like she did and while I did the same thing, that's completely different because I'm right and everyone else is wrong.....
While I'm not disputing what they wrote, i;'m stating that *I* didn't buy it. that is my personal observation. You can share that view, or not. But it's a statement of what I personally felt watching it. And while that is subjective, it also isn't up for debate with others. I felt what I felt.Call had sufficient self determination to rebel, and self loathing is a very human emotion. Andy is what Rain's father programmed him to be. Then, once he gets upgraded he is what WY programmed him to be. True it's never addressed; so it's likely another throwback to ALIEN.Why was there the laser-mist on the floor in that random hallway? And Andy puts in hand in it and has an "Oh ****" look on his face but it's never addressed. Wonder if there's a deleted scene that explains it?
