I would think it would be harder to find a properly sized clear plastic cone just floating around loose, than it would be to use the one off of the Hasbro blaster. BUT I might be wrong.

No, you are right. I hadn't thought of that.

And now that I think about it, I seem to remember there being a thread on the Alien blaster a year or so ago and someone brought up Shawn's pistol and that there was some sort of sore throat spray available that had a clear cap on it that was the right shape, size and depth that could be used.

Ok, just as a general question to those in the know as it were... which version of the the suit does Planet Hollywood have?? I've handled the thing personally as it was sitting in their warehouse here in Orlando, but I don't recall seeing a nameplate on it... not that I was really looking at the time. It is a full suit, adult sized and complete from head to toe... so which one is it?

Well sounds like youre refering to the Dallas suit. It should have had a pink tinge to the color. It was near complete. Must have had a incorrect helmet or the helmet that was on it ended up on the PSOL suit. I beleive it was missing a few items. I have some pics of it on Myspace.

I do know the boots and gloves were incorrect.

Did you happen to get any pics or any details of the costume?

That is the page I saw, and the little collage of guns including an unidentified BR blaster that I would love see better pictures of as well.

Rick Ross I think told me a story once that when he visited Bob Burns basement, he a saw the BR gun there that was supposedly a screen used piece, but turned out to be one of his models IIRC.

I PM'd Jason a long time ago about seeing larger pictures of those shots but never got a response.

From one of the shots of the two guns on the table, one looks two toned and the other looks mostly gloss black.

This is about all the enhancement I could do on the Eaton pic of Burns' props.

Note that the holstered Rexim is actually the child-sized prop.

I can tell that the BR gun is not a Rick Ross version, maybe a painted stunt like the Police carried.

I just watched the Bob Burns segment on the 9th disc of the Quadrilogy set for the first time. I can't tell you what took me so long other than intimidation from the sheer size and amount of extras in that set to begin with.

It says a lot about what can be had by just having integrity, which as it turns out is why Bob was given all those things to begin with. Because he honored what they asked of him and he was willing to share it with everybody who asked. Awesome is all I can say.

Steve has made an interesting observation about the gun...if you zoom in close enough the gun appaears to be copper colored over black and not green.

Metalic gold, like they used on all the set props in the refinery perhaps?

The kids gun looks Copper, but the adult gun looks "goldish"

One of them (the one looking at camera in the lower pic) is definitely Phil Rae. I remember him saying that he was one of the only adults small enough to put on the child suit.
