I loved the fact that at about 12 minutes into the talk, he mentions this unbeatable resource

I've dreamed about making a Dodo bird skeleton after seeing that video and a few weeks before that the actual Dodo skeleton "in person" at the Makers fair. One of these days I'll put the fingers to the sculpey. He also did an amazing bullwhip. I bought a dvd on how to make a bullwhip but still don't see myself putting one together anytime soon :lol

That's a highly entertaining presentation, but also one that promotes reflection about "objects of desire" and what compels us to desire them. I like his closing a lot.

And, yes, great to see the RPF mentioned... a "group of prop crazies" just like Adam, who "trade, make, and travel in information about movie props." :D

Thanks for sharing the link, KramStarr! :thumbsup

Adam is the coolest.
To see his level of obsession is somewhat justify-able..and yet familliar.
lol:lol
Oh, and where i work there is a casting of the Maltese from the original.
Should i tell him?
lol

Inspiring. Absolutey inspiring. Adam is an unwitting messiah of sorts in that he proves that we are a lot less limited than we think we are.

LOL I really enjoyed that. He is a gifted speaker and certainly kept me entertained:) Loved his passion. Quite contagious. It was nice he mentioned "Us"......

Adam...you should do some how tutorials mate. That was FUN!!!

Adam is the man.
If only humanity could share his passion for getting things done the world would be a better place.

TED is amazing. After all the stuff I've done, I thought I'd lost all my inclination towards being star-struck, but the year I met Burt Rutan, I could barely talk to him. My smile in the pic my wife took of the two of us is actually wider than my face. :)

I'm showing that speech to anyone who gets a weird look when i tell them why I don't spend my spare time in a bar . . .well . . .why I don't spend MOST of my spare time in a bar.
