4 ft x-wing

That"s way to cheap for a model that size and subject, man I would be very weary unless I saw progression of every step. You might be getting what you pay for in a bad way........or it could be a deal of a life time at that price!!!:lol
 
It doesn't look bad, does it? I think it might be scaled up from the proportions of the MPC kit (just a guess there, but I've done that myself). If so then it's not studio accurate but from what they've shown, it looks decent enough. Not my cup of tea but if I was bidding, I'd want bigger pics. Also, it's a lot closer to 3ft than 4ft!
 
Dark imitator did in fact sell it to a guy in Greece. The model is 39 inches long...but this guy quotes it at almost 4 feet. I guess a Greek foot is 10 inches. Somebody get Greece to adopt the metric system! lol

Sorry, but I assumed from your opening critique ("Not bad for some balsa , some air freshners and some knitting needles") that you already understood that this model wasn't studio scale.

If I gave you too much credit in that assessment, I most humbly apologize. :$

firstly I'm not upset by anyone's comments so please don't get me wrong. I am fully aware that this kit is not studio scale and simply thought that seeing as it was advertised as studio scale that it may at least open discussion on why it's not ss which some new members may find helpfull. Some new members may not be aware of the 5 ft model for example.

So please let's not be patronizing. If you can't discuss a model advertised as studio scale in the studio scale forum then there must be a problem somewhere. Anyway it's still a nice model even if it's not studio scale.
 
No worries. Mostly cranky here the past few weeks about the increase of non studio scale threads in this forum, and ended up picking on you. Sorry.
