You could probably use the new "google glass" as a camera and access to jarvis via voice command app.
Zabanna had some videos on YouTube developin' a voice activated helmet openin' an closin' you should check those out or pm him.![]()
Ha ha, thanks man. I've been substitute teaching a lot as of late and juggling a number of other projects, but I'm getting back to designing more parts again. I just designed a nice little piece yesterday after watching IM3 - I'll post a pic here after this reply.O...

I need more! Keep up the good work!
I have been wanting to do the same thing. the under mech is what I am after, as this helps solidify the movement of each part (no gaps), which helps in the overall believable-ity of the suit. Don't get me wrong, everyone that has been building these suits have spent a ton of time and money and they look amazing! This under mech is the icing on the cake tho imho.
This is awesome, subscribed!!!

Any updates on the suit?
dido.. Every time I log in I keep hoping for updates on this project.
Wonder if we can get suit and tech update vids on YouTube?
The patriot cannon is AMAZING! It looks a little wobbly, but it looks like in the video he has it zip tied on. Amazing design and functionality. It was awesome to see something like that knowing that it was 3D printed. I'd love to see some of your stuff 3D printed. We've seen a lot of awesome 3D models but you haven't posted any printed products. Are you still having problems with the replicator.
If you were closer I'd offer to help, or lend you some of my resources. As it stands if your ever in New Orleans, you've got a place to stay/work. Please post pics of any of the printing you've done. I'm interested to see the resolution of an privately owned replicator. I've seen them print a couple times, but only when owned by make or otherwise fresh out of the box.
I want one i was planning on building one my self but yours is way better (building a 1: tony next to my suitSorry for the delay in updates on this - I've been swamped with other projects (substitute teaching, doing some work for Sony Playstation, writing a trilogy of screenplays for a Hollywood producer, improving my old products, etc.)
Anyways, here are the few things I can update you on:
If you haven't already seen it, here is the Unibeam 2.0 in action: Unibeam 2.0 - NOW AVAILABLE! - YouTube
My Mark VI Arc Reactor is halfway done (just need to finish the stand): Mark VI Arc Reactor - YouTube
I was commissioned by ladman on here to design a functioning Iron Patriot shoulder-cannon. It is completely 3D printed, and is controlled by an accelerometer concealed in the back of his glove. We had discussed the idea of using a gyroscope in the helmet to have the cannon follow his gaze, but gyroscopes are notorious for "drift", which would cause the cannon to slowly come out of alignment. Regardless, here is a video of him testing it out: Iron Patriot Motorized Shoulder Cannon - YouTube
Yesterday, I was inspired by IM3, and modeled this baby up pretty quickly. It won't do much, other than illuminate the blue LEDs, and have them flicker a bit. But, I'm hoping it will accompany a new gauntlet I'm designing...

The side chambers house the electronics and the battery, and there is a groove in the band that houses the wires running between them.

The small slot on the side will allow me to connect a cut-and-shaped lexan eye cover.
I have access to a better 3D printer now (though, my access is limited), but I should be able to start pumping out a few of these designs for less money soon.
Thanks for being patient everyone - there are not enough hours in the day!
Here are some pics of the 3D printed Mark VI Arc Reactor - these came from the Replicator 2:
