Ryan's got some bog plans in the works for sure!
for now.. I have ONLY been able to get the HUD working with:
1.) live feed/input
2.) HUD graphical overlay (animations/tech stuff)
3.) 'HUD' communication to the neural-network (Arduino)... (not network to HUD working yet)
4.) This is also only working on a 'PC' set-up for now.. (easier to develop on it)
meaning the webcam and HUD overlay is working on PC and sending data to the Arduino(s)...
this is NOT the communication direction we 'really' need..
HUD >> network would be nice/great (and available if we ever get that far) if 'somehow' we can interact with the HUD screen...
since the final hardware is still in research/beta phase.. Im not sure if there is any 'mouse' (for lack of better term) input to interact with the 'screen'..
what we need to dial in is how to get communication the other way working (currently only working on Linux....but thats just my lame approach there are probably better ways and work-arounds for this).. we need the network >> HUD communication going..
so the accelerometers can light up the correct visuals/displays on the HUD.. or when the arm is lifted or repulsor charging.. the mini pic of the armor in the corner has that arm/glove highlighted..etc..
(could in theory) work in some charging up/down times.. or power levels... after 'xxx' amount of shots..etc..
Im sure Ryan has a plan too.. and we'll get it worked out (eventually) LOL
