Not speaking for Mike, but as far as I know he is in full FTL spin up for Wonderfest. He is super, super busy. I'm sure he will get with you guys when he can, I know that his PM inbox has been hard to deal with when it is SO full all the time, even right after he cleans it out. Give him a couple of weeks, then give him a poke again.

Hey guys, back from my little vacation today and back to work. I really needed a break so a big thanks to everyone for being patient, I have been working 7 days a week since early March (with the exception of Easter and Mothers Day, but i still did bit on those days too) and really managed to burn myself out a bit. I did not say anything at the time but my wife became suddenly without a job in March and i had to kick everything into high gear around that time to keep us afloat in the short run. That included taking on some outside jobs to keep everything moving.

The good news is that she is back to work and has even started a practice of her own in the last months, so hopefully my stress levels will return to normal, rather than emergency mode levels of stress!

So for news on this, back to casting today after a quick clean up of the shop.

My vacation was not all just for fun, this "prototype" was also delivered to a private collector on route to my buddies house. I took a few pics before handing it off, but now have the opportunity to build a 2nd kit and incorporate some of the tricks that i have seen some of the builders like Robiwan and others into the instructions.

Boy Tony, I was just in Florida, wish i had known I would have considered stopping by, I have been daydreaming about owning a Delorean since 1985! Doubt i can ever afford one, then again I will need a "new" car in about 2 years!

That is cool! I almost bought a Delorean back in '87. I was short about 2 grand and wound up buying an '87 Fiero instead.

Hey Martyn, if you load the parts I want to update everyone with to shapyways I will buy them for casting. Shipping was only like $7 to me (USA i guess) for the Raider parts you did for me.

My plan is to clean them, mold them, take a few low shrink castings and make a gang mold so i can do like 5 or 6 update sets in each pour, that way I can get them out fast to everyone.

Sorry Mike, I've been drowing in RL stuff lately too. Also a health thing or two, nothing major, but feeling much much better the last week or so and back on the case. Will try to wrap these up over the next week or so.

Mike, where were you? I looked for you at WF, tried to call and text but no dice. Ran into Quincy and he said he had just had lunch with you. On a brighter note, I had the Galactica with me and was stopped by about a dozen people asking questions and taking pictures of me and the ship. Felt like a celebrity!!

I thought Lonewolf said you did not make it with the galactica, i must have misunderstood what he said. Wish i had gotten to see it in person.

Sorry man i guess we just kept crossing paths, i was all over the place and the weekend went by in a flash. Try to make it to Jerseyfest with the galactica finished if you can.

Back to work tomorrow, home with the youngest today.
