Got mine today, while it was cool gift and idea. I guess I did not phrase my post well enough when it comes to model building I am terrible at it and get flustered way to easy the few times I have tried. Thank you for the though and idea though. Also this was in no way a rant or complaint just an observation
also if this seems like a rant or dissapointment it is not it has just been a very very rough week for me, so don't take it personal
 
you can count me as received. I will post a pic when I can get to it. Also, I'll have my gift in the mail tomorrow, sent "speedy delivery!" I had attempted a OOAK polymer clay sculpt for him, but failed to realize how long it would take to finish... but plan B will be awesome, too, though. :)

Post a pic of the model! I'd look at this as an opportunity to give it another shot, be calm and maybe you get more out of this than a cool model, a new skill. Secret Santa for you is about broadening your horizons!
 
I dropped mine off at a USPS partner or whatever they are called (USPS checkout at a grocery store), as I was too late to make it to the Post Office. So mark me as shipped :)

I really hope my recipient enjoys it!

Still nothing from my Secret Santa, but at least I won't have to wait very long to open it once it arrives, since Christmas is only 9 days away :lol

I can't believe I never posted about my gifts!! My santa did a wicked cool job on a sweet custom lightsaber! And also a knive inspired from the book Dune! It was something I wasn't to familiar about but still awesome!! And definitely inspired me to do some research on it! :D

Dude I'm Jealous. Those are awesome. I am also playing the waiting game right now but honestly I am sooooo busy at work I don't even remember what day it is or how many more till x-mass. Still can't wait to come home one day and find a nice gift on my door step.

You know what this thread needs? More Photos!!!

My SS gifts arrived today!! Check out the sweet retro Star Wars wrapping paper! It was nearly a shame to unwrap them ( I ovecame that in about 3 seconds!).

The cool stuff inside: A great ReAction vintage style Alien figure, (Love that guy, might have to find the rest of the set). An over-sized Star Wars character poster to countdown to the new movie! Lastly, it was a box of "crack for prop builders", DREMEL bits and sanding wheels!!!!

Unfortunately I still haven't heard from eckymon and JESSCWILL

I've got one last reach out to JESSCWILL (was able to email her through the site) however I've exhausted all my methods for eckymon so I will be reassigning his recipient to a new Santa. His recipient has been notified.

I'm giving this email another day and if I don't hear from JESSCWILL I'll reassign her recipient as well.

Thankfully I've been so busy I haven't been able to wait eagerly at the mail box! It's for the best that my gift isn't here yet, it'll help me wait until Christmas day!

It is a little worrying that Jesscwill only have one post on RPF and that is the signup to the SS.... Eckymon is not much better with only 4 posts. Lets hope they had eachother as ss and not tricked anyone to send them a free gift. :(

Every year there's one or two. Sadly an expected hazzard. :(

eckymon's recipient has been reassigned. I've sent a PM regarding reassigning JESSCWILL's recipient, once I hear back from that person we should be all sorted.
