2011 Red Y-Wing: Build Thread™

So I think there was a slight change in the dimensions of the parts when cast... you'll need to ever so slightly shim the Saturn V halves with .40 styrene on ONE SIDE only. This will bring it in line with the Saturn V part inset into the back, and the L'eggs egg at the front. It'll all be in the instructions - not a big deal - just something to be aware of!

Oh, for heaven's sake! I don't know as I want this thing now... :)lol)

Looking simply divine.

There is probably a tiny teeny flat spot right
there in the engine, a perfect circle is a tough
thing to do some times!

First i have to say your work looks great!!!
Looking forward to your next posts.

I Hope u dont mind me adding my 2 cent on threading a hole.
When u thread something you should 2-3 turns in and then 1/2 out.
That way u cut the chip, and the thread will have a better surface.
And when u tap a smaller hole (1 or 2 mm) u minimize the risk of breaking the tappingtool.

And here is Index that shows wich drillbit sice fits which tapping tool sice.
