I've just scored what looks to be like a really close pair on the bay, just in time for christmas (puts satsuma in pocket). Will post pics when they arrive, and hopefully these are high-street available.

Sounds good, can't wait to see. I just received an awesome magnifying glass for Xmas that will be accompanying me in my coat pockets at all times. It will also be used to analyze screen accurate details. Like old-fashioned Blu-Ray.

Like the man said, close, but no cigar! They were great for Christmas morning though. If anyone wants more info about these to try and track down a pair, let me know. Like I said before, this should be the easiest thing to find in the world, but has proved really tricky so far.

was looking around, seems on ebay there's a pair from the gap that is a good like a like but sadly it is for infants. any tips on finding a close enough for men?

I dont get why no one has done this one spoon flower. I remember seeing one ages ago that wasn't for sale.
Who knows, but it's always an option for this.

Well, I realize that this thread is now quite old and obviously no one has posted in quite a while, but this year I'm determined to put this cosplay together for some conventions. I was able to find a quite good "close enough" pair of PJs on ebay - the brand is Christopher Hayes (which apparently used to be Macy's in-house brand). The tag from Macy's looks quite old - yellowed even. So unfortunately I have no idea when these things were available new, but they were still brand-new in the package when I got them.

Here's the picture from the ebay listing - if anyone is interested, I can post some actual pictures of them outside of the package (and the whole outfit together once the dressing gown arrives):



The only downside was that they are size XL so they are pretty big on me (I really should be wearing a Medium), but not so much of a big deal since I'll have the dressing gown over it (and I may very well take in the shirt myself to make it less gigantic). The thing I found out after I bought them is that the originals did not have the "suit-style" lapels collar, it looks more like a regular dress shirt collar. But I'm not too concerned with that, considering how difficult it is to even find a "close enough" pair...

This thing looks damn near perfect to the original!
