all true. i'd take the advice of the solder lifers. however, this guy ultimately is short on funds for the time being and doesn't want to go out and buy a bunch of alligator clips and specialty brillo pads or scrap machinist cuttings.

I did have tulip paint. I used it before I read all of this

Yes they worked last night. So I will need to see if things are still ok this evening when I deal it back up
