1:1 Scale Snowspeeder (T-47 Airspeeder) build.

I walk into the paint shop and ask for a ceiling flat base in the colour "Ancient Ruin"
Paint guy: "We dont do that"
Me: "Yes you do"
Paint guy: "No. That is an external colour mixed with a ceiling base colour. Its not normal"
Me: " I'm building a wooden space ship in my garage, thats not normal either"
Paint guy: "Cool" then proceeds to mix the colour. "you got photos" he says...

Anyways.
Tacking on some temporary undercarriage. These will be fixed for now but might do some fancy folding ones at a later date. Time to outsource some details and get my mate to 3D print some parts for me. This is a ring that fits onto the laser cannon. Hope he can make sense of my sketch.

I also got the underside sheeting completed with a temporary landing skid.

Partial wing completion. Big smooth boring surfaces so i will add some panel lines and grey panels as per this Bandai model below (photo credit-finescale.com)

A great day for the rebellion! Test of the wing folding with the bulkhead attached. It folds perfectly. The wing is getting heavy though, for one person to lift at least. But the time the rear bulkhead is attached the wings might end up being a two person lift...

You could put in hydraulics to fold them automatically like a carrier jet.
