LOL! I was thinking about a 1:1 scale Snowspeeder... It appears to be the size of a car or SUV which means it would fit in the garage. Not to sure about the ATAT...

Hi Gang,

Did a little work on the door this afternoon!

After laying the pattern down I found a few round objects to help round out the corners

Cutting

The top overlay isn't as deep as the top of the door where all the cool little greeblies are so I had to remove this material as well...

Quick fit... I still have to cut the bottom overall and then do the exact same thing on the backside!

Wait a second. The cockpit in the Millenium Falcon has a closing door? I honestly don't remember ever seeing it closed.

Thank you, Sir! I've been aching to get the door started/finished! Everything is a breeze excpet cutting the overlay with the jigsaw. You have to take it slow and easy...

I wanted to see what the cockpit would look like. Can you tell I used your 3D model for the upper left side panel behind Chewie? Having removed so much from the bottom, the door does look a little "squished"... I'm hoping everything will balance out once all the pieces are in place. You know... I still have to create those shelves - that's going to be interesting!

Hi Gang,

I got an early start this morning... Finishing up the white rockers... Next Up... the Grey... I also started the new instrument panels

Not sure why this upside down??? Rockers painted

Sliders finished up - just need a little black dot!

Getting ready to remove the front end of the platform. this allow more foot room and make it a little lighter

Instrument panel... As the filler dries I'm going to jump on the door and try to get to a 90% solution

The neighbor was tossing away an office chair... what the heck...

Granted it needs to be a little lower... I also removed the front of the platform

The door is slowly coming along - now working the backside

I tried installing the drawer pull and while it worked and was REALLY cool - it was too short... So... I have to figure out something else. Anybody have any ideas?

The bottom of the door is now skinned

With a SUPER big captains chair

What a mess...

Back of the door - I temp added the back skin. This door is really heavy!

The lowly quad... just waiting / needing some attention...

Note to self... the next time you do a project this big... build the dang thing before you paint it and add greeblies!
