Hi Gang,

Just noticed a delivery on the front porch!

These are HORRIBLE pics! Starkiller had the green sliders printed! A little sanding, sealing, molding and casting coming soon! Much thanks to Starkiller for the QUICK turnaround!

Difficult to tell in these pics but there is a slight bend. I'll have to make sure the part is perfect when I make a mold

Part is about 7.5 inches. An actual "Edge Connector" is roughly $15-25. Why not make a mold and cast as many as I need? Makes sense to me.

Once the part is painted green the rockers will feel right at home

Up close, you can see how grainy the part is - lots of filling to do - I just hope I don't lose too much detail when I begin to fill and sand

Thank you! If you notice, the grey rockers a just wee bit smaller than the white ones. I separated the sizes on purpose... unfortuantely, I didn't realize how much of a size difference there was... but i think it should be ok.

When I log into the RPF the first thing I do is search out this thread. I love this build and now that you are starting to 3D print those hard to find parts it just keeps getting better. Keep it up. :thumbsup

Oh lol, I was looking for old Roland-100M synth audio samples, then jumped over here, see the new shiny panel and thought "midi up them switches and add a step sequencer to the rockers ...mmmM" - then had a flashback of wiring up patchbays and SSL looms and thought better of it

Hi Gang,

With all the rain still in the area... I've been tinkering with some ideas on how to move forward with the new instrument panels and throttle housing... but in the mean time... I thought I would hook up all the lights and see what the console would look like with all the greeblies...

The back panel (the vertical part) needs holes drilled for smaller LEDs

The Vickers Vents look right at home

Although the vents don't exactly fit... I'll burn that bridge when I get to it.

This is my first post, but I can't contain myself any longer. This build, combined with Starkillers CG model that inspired it, is possibly the most impressive thing I have ever seen on the internet. Outstanding stuff gents!

I quickly added the knobs to the other panel... I need to remove all the Christmas Tree LEDs in prep for the new 3mm flat top LEDs

The dreaded rain... ugh...
