3D printing parts to upscale a model kit?

Alright. I am making an inquiry of guys here who know about this stuff. I know it is possible to take a model kit, say 1/72 size as in the Starship Modeler Nazi flying wing from Raiders and scan it in for a 3D printer and print parts to make a 1/24th scale studio kit. Is there anyone here who...

Scammer Alert: Docking Bay Studios (formerly Imperial Replicas)

I would like to suggest that no one do business for the near future. His website is down and this needs to shake out to see if matters are set right with people. It is now December 13, 2016.

    27" bird of prey

I have the kit, in the process of building it. The "glass reinforced plastic" is actually a polyester/glass resin. You must wear a mask when sanding! Akin to asbestosis if it gets in your lungs. Meet the Dragonfly class Hvy Tender: Agro

Ok, face is to big....to much of a wing thing going. the "scale" of the ship overall.....the front overpowers the back, the front reminds me of a megatron thing from transformers......nice shape overall though, just out of scale.......firefly class. I noticed an engine exhaust on the very end...
