I just used a can of black spray paint and used pewter rub n buff for the metalic parts.

This might be my favorite repaint thus far. VERY nice work on it!!!!!

Small update on my redux. Like a slug, I've been working in mind very slowly.
i was able to get some no functioning LEDs in
Need to do some clean up, but they're in there :thumbsup
Ill be more motivated to work on it once the new grips arrive.

Thanks, guys! I was less than thrilled with the result, to be honest. I decided to rework it a tad... a lot. Haha
I repainted the top portion dark gray and used a crap ton of Rub 'n' Buff. I'm pretty pleased with it.

This thread is amazing! Very inspiring. I'm obsessed. Here is my first attempt, you can see where the end of the barrel is screwed up, I learned the hard way that a hot glue gun will melt the plastic, I attempted to fill in the warp with loctite putty but my inexperience in sanding shows through... I've got another water gun on the way. Wife has no idea that I'm paying $46 for a squirt gun

All of these have come out brilliantly! Here's my first ever attempt at a replica prop. I only managed to get the blue handled pistol, so tried to make it work in my favour as a futuristic plastic type deal! If anyone has any advice as to how to improve it I'd be really grateful!

I also like your scratches on the black glossy led area, is that rubn buff or another technique?
