Remember, you can always trim them to make a maz box saber.
The placement of the cutouts are different.
Or get 7 ANH grips and trim and profile all you wamt.
then ¯\_(ツ)_/¯That's a possibility, although I'd still prefer to get them prefab from somewhere if possible, 100% accurate from the start.
Roy, I see you have added a little description to you clamp cover saying it is not designed for replicas. Here is one of yours on my 2.0. It works pretty well, but you can see a little flexing in be reflection. This may be because my clamp is a bit loose. The only thing that is off is the slot for the screw that holds the clamp's orientation. I am still very pleased with how it turned out!

Here is the 2.0 tab after it was flattened by a vice.
Great! Thanks a million!!! There was one unboxing review online where the guy said the propshop saber had "accurate plastic parts" as his hands brushed against the grips but that wasn't really definitive. This settles it
I was concerned about that article as well, but so far it's the ONLY source that has mentioned the hero TFA grips being rubber, and since we've now confirmed the Propshop grips are plastic, that leads me to believe the CineFx article may be mistaken. I have tcss rubber grips on mine now, but I'll probably swap them out for some plastic ones soon.
That's 100% brass. Just compare it to the rest of the silver of the saber. Thanks, I've been convincing myself that this screw cap I one that isn't grounded, even though the coining isn't visible, because it is silver. But I can see that being brass in the grey shadows of the shot. https://postimg.org/image/vv3j95len/
I thought all his clamps had the engraved letters on them. Here's the alignment on Roman's clamp. Barely noticeable where it's off...

I see. Well, Roman now sells a cover with no text on it. I just ordered one since my 2.0 kit's came damaged. That's Roy's clamp cover over Roman's clamp to hide the writing.
Sort of a random question: Is the original Graflex made of brass and then plated like all the replicas?
My guess was cost. Why do you think the replicas are?
