Your Indiana Jones Displays - Lets see 'em

Hey VonMagnum,
I think the closest you can get is for a Linder : my English isn't good enough to explain it well so here's a picture I made as a comparison (Hubertus/Linden/screen...). Please check the grooves on metal for the Hubertus (not on SA) and the alignment of the rivets on the handle.
The only difference you will find on the Linder is the shape of the stag handles : this can be fixed but grooves on the metal can't be....(at least for me ;) ....). I hope it helps....

Yeah, thanks. I almost ordered the Linder last night. I was going to order it straight from Linder.de as it was slightly cheaper than other sites even with shipping and they had the right switchblade as well, but they would not take PayPal for the switchblade only or just a regular credit card. They would take PayPal for just the Linder, though. Another source might get here faster and I had to get to sleep.

I just ordered the Linder 312111 stag knife.... Supposedly, it will be here in 3-7 days with airmail priority from Germany. I'm still looking for the best deal and fastest shipping for the switchblade stiletto since I'll be away for a bit eventually.

OK, I've got the Frank Beltrame Buffalo handle stiletto switchblade on order now as well (I did end up using 3Knives as MCINTOSH275 suggested as they do take PayPal and do ship here, supposedly in a fairly quick fashion). It ended up being $81.45 USD.

Henry Jones Sr's Grail Diary (MoviePropStore Germany Story Edition). No mailing package (just brown wrapping), but lots of extras I've not seen with other versions including more photos of Henry and Indiana together. Overall, I'm pleased with it. I might try to age the cover a bit more. It looks pretty dark on the bookshelf display, though (I guess that's to be expected). Both Indy's knife from Raiders and Mutt's knife from Crystal Kingdom are still on their way to be added to the bookshelf display.

Decide to do a separate raven bar display first because I've now made the money for inside my cigar box so wanted it displayed open, but also over this weekend i made a card replica of the tree stump type candle holder Marion hangs the headpiece on to of course do the same, I also made a prop which I think as got over looked the fire poker as it plays an important role in the Raven bar scene, first Nazi agent Toht is going to torture Marion with it but when Indy whips it out of his hand it set the curtains a light starting the fire that burns the bar down, plus such a simple prop to make using 1/2inch square wood for the main part then a slightly thicker piece for the hot end, and I used newspaper to create the handle and covered it with thin craft foam with a ping pong ball for the end, then just sprayed it all black before painting the hot end to make it look hot ok think I've now got the headpiece holder sorted with a little bit of remodelling two eye sockets holes cut into it, plus new paint job including dripping real candle wax in a few places it now resembles a goats head i hope, also added a photo of the poker

I always thought that the candle holder was a tree stump or piece of driftwood too, but this thread seems to indicate pretty convincingly that it’s actually two goat skulls.

Well your right look like it's back to the drawing board lol

My Linder 31211 Knife from Solingen, Germany has arrived (Raiders of the Lost Ark knife). It definitely doesn't have the blackened bits from the movie knife on it. I could darken it with some black lines, I suppose, but that would be altering the knife. I suppose I could try the "torch" method with one of my torch lighters to just put a black line across the ridge, which would at least get it closer in appearance on the stag handle.

My Indy Hat has arrived also. It's not perfect, but it looks good and the XXL actually fits my head correctly for a change.

(apparently ugly hate removed)

I've also got the Toht Hat (and a black trenchcoat to match; I do need the coat hanger, though so if anyone knows where I can acquire that, let me know. I've got the Belloq "Panama" Straw Fedora on order as well.

Considering the quality of some of your other items, you really ought to spring for an Akubra Federation IV at the very least. The standard version is only $110 right now.

Given I don't see any obvious difference whatsoever on their site in terms of visual quality other than the slightly taller open crown (I guess I'm not a Fedora aficionado enough to see how ugly it is), I don't get your rather offensive comments, but whatever. I'll just remove it from the site so it doesn't offend your eyes.
