Henry Jones Grail Diary - Story Version

I've been working on my grail diaries for a few years now. I already made three using the Celeste Conway pdfs, but now I have re-typed all the text with the latest Henry Jones font. I've replaced virtually all the images, and added all the images available from the Prop Store Auction site, as well as making some new pages. So much time and research has gone into these diaries. I love the Hero prop version, but the story version always appealed to me a bit more as it seems more like a "real item" instead of a prop for a movie. I'm creating this thread so that I can post more images later when I assemble the diaries and get them finished.

It's a slow process; I re-typed the whole diary, and they're not saved as word files, they're pdfs. I'll print a signature, cut it and fold it, and then later find that I missed a typo. I'm also adding digital aging to many of the pages, and I have to print them to see how it looks on the color paper. Here's a pic of a page I created with the story text next to it.

I love the spread! It's looking really good. How are you finding the digital aging looks when printed? Ive found that it appears kinda glossy. Which makes it more like a printed book rather than an aged naturally book. I'd be interested to know your methods.

Thank you! I'm using a laser printer, so that might help make it look less glossy? I'm using watercolor brushes in photoshop. I don't trust my "skills" to do good aging stains to the pages, and this way I have more control.

Yeah its not easy to always find the time for these projects. Have to fit it in and around family, work and life in general

I'm about 99% finished printing all the pages; spent some time today updating this image: the top one is from the video game PDF file, the bottom is the updated pic to be as close to the original version as possible.

Finished sewing the signatures together last night; some may notice that I have 11 signatures instead of the "official 10," my brother and I wanted more maps and invented pages from as many original sources as possible; so I added an additional signature, but I still have the correct total number of pages, I just have fewer blank pages at the end. I used an "unsupported french stitch" for my sewing since this was the easiest method for me to figure out without any help.
