But that does explain the one of a kind statement, he or she must not be making more of them.

Until the next one... :lol

No, it's not the one from Italy, this one even mentioned Worldcon in it's auction, and it was just posted yesterday.

I beleive that is just a built up modified Italian version.

I believe the same.
It still lacks a couple of details, and the price hike is obscene. Wonder if, whilst he was 'accurising' the Italian kit, he corrected a few details on the stock gun. Like rattling grips and a chamber that doesn't lock in place.

Honestly, I can't see a thing about accuracy on that gun, other that its based in the Coyle one. Many details seen in the Worldcon are missing and many shapes and proportions are wrong.

Too expesive for a bad repro.

The $900.00 price is about the same that Sidkit charges for his build up.

These are fairly ratty castings and do need a lot of work to clean up.

I do not lie: check these pictures taken by another person who bought one of his kits and took these pictures of it and his effords to build it.

PS he was not happy with it.

And for how he recast me...(He did buy a Hartford/MiM pistol frame and grips to use on this model, his earlier model was all mine..)

I have one of those kits and the castings are WAY better than shown in those pics. Dunno how well it fits together yet, though

Anyway, maybe someone else took pictures of the items there that may be showing them soon ;-)

A little off-topic, sorry, but could anybody who has pictures of the "Force" badge (which, hopefully, is not subject to the attentions of the BR Mafia, the Stonecutters, the Illuminati or the MIB) please share them?

Guys, we need to chill. :confused

Really.

The photos are public, and honestly have been since the thread was first posted anyway.

Asking the people here to file a complaint is petty IMHO. Given the circumstance I think it is crying over spilled milk, and it's not going to do any good for any one. The photos can't be supressed or hidden any longer, which would mark that "the time" has arrived to get over it.

Otherwise, I do feel that banned members are in fact cast in a "bad" light here DSB. That said, I didn't really take it as a literal post though, seemed kind of a jest to me. ;)

If we can't laugh at ourselves and all that :D

Yep. Time to grow up.

Well, I didn't mean it like that actually. I was thinking more in terms of the attempts to control people and thier actions, or to effect the circumstances in a certain way. I feel making any attempt to further supress the photos is just petty, and I see the filing of the complaint post as a move to further supress the photos. :unsure

To be TOTALLY honest with you, I feel that we are all tapping our inner child for this hobby, so I don't really wanna grow up. :D hahaha.

I just mean it's time to move on, and accept that the photos are there, and the Id is there, we've seen 'em now, can't be unseen. The photos can't be unsaved from the hundreds of hard drives and such either, so, what exactly is the point of trying to get him in trouble?

It's a personal grudge.

What a mess this thread is... :unsure

Phil is a member here and will be dealt with according to the CoC. I've pulled his post and some others quoting it and discussing the particulars.

Taking any disagreement or conflict away from the computer and bringing it into real-life is not cool. This is just a hobby-discussion board, and some people take these things way too seriously.

A couple of reminders...

Please don't quote or discuss banned members, their products, or their websites...

and please keep this thread on-topic (what was the subject again? a prop? some pictures? or the great BR mafia? I forget... :( )

Respectfully, aren't we sorta' missing the topic of discussion?

Like I said, this thread is all over the place... but it's like the Energizer Bunny. It keeps going and going and going... :p

Hey guys, I went back and pruned some posts as 90% of them were hijacks, law advice, and so on (don't even ask me what the mango post was all about :confused). If one of yours was moved by mistake, please let me know and I'll try and put it back. If I missed one of yours by mistake, please let me know and I'll take care of it.

Please keep in mind that even if your post was perfectly fine by itself, if it was a reply to a hijack post (or a reply to a reply) it was grouped with the others since it wouldn't make sense by itself.

Okay, well, the thread is a little more back on track now, so...

I think it would be fair if the mods let the membership know what action they take. There are obviously many factions in the hobby and it would be a shame to not treat eveyone exactly the same.

Thanks Karl. I feel for you being caught in the middle of all this. You try to do people favours and this happens. Makes you wonder why you bother.

Don't expect much. All I did was imply who I thought was behind the pics being pulled (not even by name or board name) and express my disgust with how this went down and my post got pulled.

This is what you should expect.

Equal treatmant. Ha.

Something I've always wondered....what was the piece where the green LED's are located originally? Or, was it machined from scratch for use on the gun? Any ideas?

i somewhere heard or read that it might be the handle/grip of a jewelers screwdriver, not sure if that info is correct or just speculation, though.
