Check out the fifth watch down on this webpage (Microma).[/b]
:eek Looks very much the same. Good find. :thumbsup

Say, should we start a new thread for the watch? This is, after all, a Blaster thread. :)

Great find dude. hard to be 100% sure from the photos on that website, but it sure as heck looks good to me. let the bidding wars begin.

PS, you'll probably get a PM from someone shortly asking you to take that link down, as they will want to corner the market on it. :)

Hard to be 100% sure from the pictures from the movie.

Anyway, here's a closer look at a steel version:

If it is one of these, they're fairly rare. These were made by Intel between 1975 and 1978. They sold for $150 each, and Intel pulled out of the digital watch market when their competitors started selling $20 watches, losing $15 million. CEO Gordon E. Moore (of "Moore's Law" fame) continued to wear one (he called it his fifteen million dollar watch) to remind himself of the blunder. Moore retired in 2001, so maybe he doesn't need his anymore...

A couple of those wallet items do not look screen accurate.
[/b]

The wallet items you question (the full wallet picture) are the ones that Phillipes produced, or at least the reference photo he used for making his. Hope that helps somehow.

I see a copyright, and your name there.

So is this the original "so called" wallet?

If so, I know what type of money that is. I actually have some.

Yes I see that the copyright notice has now been added. It was not there when I initially looked.

Looks like those pages were modified about 30-60 minutes ago... :unsure

I've seen that money before too -- but it looks big in that photo. Do you have any clean pics of your bills?

I was just getting used to not seeing this thread on the front page anymore. :unsure

Everybody knew that someone was gonna post these images eventually. There is already an all metal replica on ebay (not coyles) I guess a lawyer posting the pictures is a pretty interesting circumstance.

Rich, it's spelled illegal my friend. Not ill eagle. Edit yours, and I'll edit mine :)

I just hope we don't start getting real personal over this one. It had to happen. :confused

I'll post them tomorrow. I don't have time to scan them today. They are smaller than that. Similar to the original size that the Serenity money was based on.

The metal blaster was actually being sold on Ebay before the new images from WorldCon were posted by Karl. Likely just a "newer" version from the seller and just a coincidence.

No, it's not the one from Italy, this one even mentioned Worldcon in it's auction, and it was just posted yesterday.

I beleive that is just a built up modified Italian version.

Yes it is the Reskit/Sidkit model reworked and made more accurate. [/b]

Not by Siderio though, this guy is selling from Riverside California.

But that does explain the one of a kind statement, he or she must not be making more of them.

Thanks for the info.
