YODA RETURNS TO DAGOBAH!! -see post #277 3-14-12

My God...that thing is incredible :D I love it! I've always wanted a yoda...puppet of course, fully functioning, maybe after I recoup from R2.

someday - someone should film a walk through and interview you about these (if it hasn't already happened).
You have some of the nicest damn lifesize, porportionally correct appearing SW figs I have seen.

I would love to do that. Any volunteers?

And thanks for the compliment.
It is awesome to see that there are still people on the RPF that still have an appreciation for correct looking/accurate SW props.
You rarely see SW related items on the front page of the main prop forum compared to the past.

I feel like we are so few these days.

Wow- he looks perfect-- so many bad Yoda's out there. This is the best I have seen.

Thanks Pauleysolo!

Although I have to say, with a good probability of there being a licensed version puppet created from mold masters in the archives, all of the fan sculpted yodas will become obsolete.
Because no matter how much attention is put into the sculpts, or how well we finish them, nothing can be on par with something cast from original. ;)

Yeah, but i still get a BIG kick of nostalgia everytime i look at this/your prop, its like seeing Yoda for the first time as a kid......so for me, there aint a lot to top even from ILM molds.

My only concern with that would be Chinese Factory Finishing™ and the work needed to correct it.

I remember when I thought that the illusive yoda was cool too back when they had it on one of the home shopping network star wars specials back in the mid 90s.
Oh how times have changed.

.

he never was

wow, a true masterpiece. Anyway to get pics without the watermark? I want to add one of them for my desktop picture and add a few in "My Pictures" screen saver.

Hi Gino,

Will you consider adding whiskers to his upper lip in the near future? As seen here
in this picture and also when closely watching Yoda in TESB on screen too :

If only I lived in the USA I could come over and bring my 4x5" Vintage Graflex Camera along.

You are in an "artsy" mood, eh? I like this shot. Really lets you see the detail.

Maybe a little bit.
Here's an alternate shot from the dagobah shoot.
Taken with my crappy camera so it's not as crisp as the other one.
