Is there any way, at all that perhaps Efx can work with you to reproduce this? This is so freaking unbelievably awesome I can't put it into words. I would swear this is the real deal. It really makes everything else seem so cheap in comparison.

I appreciate that megaweapon.
A more complete accounting of it's creation can be found here:
Star Wars Propaganda - yoda - the empire strikes back
.
I've never sculpted on any of the three busts we worked on together (with the exception of the teeth I custom made for my yoda, the yoda nails, and the reworking of the maul horns. I never claimed to have sculpted them.
But make no mistake, without my input they would not turned out half as good. I have quotes from you even saying so publicly.
And since you mentioned it, your new Yoda is not nearly as good as the one we did. You took steps backward with it in my opinion and I'm not the only one who thinks so.
Let's be frank here for a moment. The reason you and I split was because you couldn't handle the attention my finished pieces were getting and felt their success as an ensemble overshadowed OUR busts (ie your contribution) as individual items. You let your pride get the best of you and it wore at our partnership. It is a shame. That and the fact that you started mixing with certain people I consider completely untrustworthy.
While the bust is the most important aspect of any lifesize display, it still is just one part, and when it came to finishing these characters out to a completion, I created all the rest of the components on my own with no involvement from you. All I received from you were raw untrimmed castings of OUR busts and turned them into what you see on my site.
My completed displays look the way they do because of ME. Otherwise you would see dozens of identical busts/displays that look just like mine, and you don't.
It is apparent to me and everyone else reading this that the crux of your problem with me is because in the end, my completed displays overshadow OUR busts. That is not my fault.
Nothing is stopping you from finishing out your own pieces. Mine have been finished for years now. You feel somehow it is MY fault that you cannot create finished pieces that look as good as mine? I think you should take some personal responsibility for that.
You're a seriously talented sculptor Phil. I think you should spend more time channeling your energy on your projects, and less time arguing/whining on prop forums.
Speaking of which, same goes for myself.
My apologies to anyone reading this for the airing of my and Phil's dirty laundry.
