Yet another Tie bomber build

Trimming the wing extensions requires the proper tools, yes?

I forced myself to go back to work on this. I won't be accurate by any means, but it is a fun build

First try didn't make muster, second looks much better. I mounted the body tubes to the armeture, only to discover I need to fill and rescribe some lines on the bomb side so detail parts will line up better.

A little progress this week, bomb shute is done. I noticed that bomb wing spar is 1.2 mm longer that the cockpit side. I managed to file off .8mm I dare not take any more off, I dont want to compromise the side mount flange inside the spar.

Wing spar details; the calipers really come in handy here, making sure the parts are equal side to side. The personel carrier is coming along too.

Making the armeture out of abs has its pitfalls, I can't drill straight thru the center block so I have to squard up the spar with these saddles I made. New 3/4 inc drill bit is enrought, this will not happen again. It would be nice to have a lathe and mill again. sigh.
