Here's mine i put bambooies dreads in. alll i need now is some magnets and me head is ready to go.

Nice dreads. I'm getting a set from Boo also. Hey is that the stand I gave u?
Is it strong enough to hold all that weight? May want to reinforce it with a pvc tube outside to give it more girth.
I'm going to start putting my heads on a stick - starting with yours once i get it painted

Yeah it's your stand. it is just barely tall enough. yeah for long term display i'll probably reinforce it.
hurry up and paint that skull! i wanna see someone else's work on my mask!!!

Well I've never painted a mask before. I'm making spray templates from the spots template found on an old thread.
I'm studying the references and prep the paints last night.
Got a Q:
Is house hold latex paints good for painting mask? If i mix it down to airbrush consistency?
I'm planning to buy a small can of white to even out the base coat you have.

i'm not sure about house paint. i wouldn't think it's the same but who knows. that's actually not a base coat it's the latex. for some reason it keeps white .

I thought you painted a white layer on it. cuz it has some brush strokes on it. OK I got some acrylic paints and matt medium I can mix up a batch for experimenting.
I'm getting a full head from ruffkin and waiting for my Booie dreads.

i got all my ref pics from the lair. just need to search as much as possible. go ahead and borrow mine as well. that's what the community is for.

Thanks man because I plan on meeting some other members of the Lair here in AZ and seeing what we can come up with. I will also keep looking at the referrnce section of the site as well to see what else I can find.
