Hello all!

First and foremost. A BIG thank you! To Luden_Design, for providing for free a 3d model of Daredevil Born Again mask. Very accurate model and with an interesting twist in it.

His free Daredevil mask link: Daredevil: Born Again Helmet ( LOUIS VUITTON texture) FREE

I took his model and topologized it in Blender, to a lot simpler model, to be able to make it with paper/cardboard. I'm not sure if it can be made with foam. But please, feel free to try.
Some words about the files.

There are 3 .pdo files and their corresponding .pdf files. One is the basic shape of the helmet. The second and third, have the parts thar are glued on top of the base, to create the elevated pieces and grooves in the mask.
This project needs lot of creativity and problem solving. Since it isn't 100% accurate with some details missing from the files.

Feel free to modify in any way my files, its COMPLETELY FREE. And ask any questions you have.

Photos from my mask (Not yet completed).

Thanks for the heads up!

Just letting you know, you can print the helmet in pieces and join them, or as one piece, and make a mold and then slush cast it out of something like Task16, and you dont have to worry about sticking the two pieces (front and back) together.

If you make a rigid helmet, unless it is wayyy too big for your head, it won't fit on your head because the eyes and cheeks pull it in, just like the occiput (base of skull).

Make a helmet out of something with a little bend and stretch, and you can make it as a one-piece helmet.

How do you put the pieces together?

How do you put the pieces together?
Hello!

You make the "Daredevil Mask" first. It will be used as the base or as the first layer.

Then you make the "Daredevil Mask Part Nose-Cheeks", and "Daredevil Parts except Nose-Cheeks". You don't exclude anything from the PDF file of "Daredevil Parts except Nose-Cheeks". The file just states that it has all the parts except the cheeks and nose. These which the other PDF file has.

Now that you have the base, and the parts. You just glue the parts in the places of the base. That is to level up the pieces and to have the gaps that the mask has.

If you are able to, I suggest downloading the free version of Pepakura designer. You will be able to see the mask and the pieces visually and you can see exactly where it's piece glues and were, so it will make the build a lot easier.

Any other questions you have, feel free to ask me!
