Yeah the Maxsell company does a great wallet but what is the badge cut for it cause they custom fit the badge.

Oh yes, as Eltee said the Tex Showmaker cases are the closest to the Canadian made props from the show, the real ones are smaller in hand than you expect. These guys at Maxell badges do a similar wallet.

I do. I bought a badge and wallet from them and they both look fantastic!
 
Thanks to Netflix for resparking my interest in these... does anyone have the id photos used in the intro sequence? They're different than the screen used badges.

I spent A LOT of time looking for those photos, and never found them. The guy who sold me my screen used wallets said they were publicity photos that were used. I was never able to confirm that, and believe me, I looked at A LOT of glossies. They sure look like publicity photos, and not your traditional "ID photo" pics, so who knows.

Also note that the wallet style is totally different than the ones that were used in the show. I think it's called a "Dress leather" wallet, as opposed to a "duty leather" one.
 
I found this on my hard drive. I made it using screen caps. This is the biggest and best quality you will get from the DVDs.

Hi everyone, I realize this thread is quite old, but I am wondering if the user who made the ID wallet is still making them? They look so fantastic. I'm after a Scully version for myself.
 
Yep, still around and still making them. Amazing how long an obsession can go. And this is nothing compared to some of the incredible amounts of time and money some talented folks put into building much bigger stuff. Everytime I'm here, I'm blown away!

I'm always amazed by the talent people have making things from movies/tv. I was thinking about making my own ID wallet until I stumbled on this forum. It was then that I realized I have no idea where to start and that I lack the talent for it. lol.

I replied to your PM about the wallets and apologies again for taking so long! :)
