I added yet another 'X-Files' prop to my collection. I found this cheap cosplay FBI wallet on Amazon, which is a pretty good match to the ones used throughout the show.
I printed out a set of Morsoth's ID cards from DeviantArt for the versions seen most often in the show whenever Mulder or Scully flash their badges. For the title sequence cards, I used the Morsoth card as a base, removed the headshot and replaced it with the proper black & white shot, changed the "FBI" font to one that matched the cards seen in the titles, as it's not the same font as the other set, and modified the signatures. In the case of Mulder's card, I changed the signature from dark blue to black. For Scully's, her signature is completely different between the two sets. I managed to find a pretty clear shot of the correct one on a refrigerator magnet, which I fit onto the Morsoth template through some careful cutting and pasting. After I printed all the cards out, and placed each one in the wallet, it turned out to be a pretty convincing replica!
Very thankful to Morsoth for the excellent work they put into their cards.
