X-Files Walllet

I'd equate reasonably priced with about $7-15 bucks per resin shield?

I'm checking into the chroming process on the resin shields, so I'll post the info as soon as I recieve a quote.

So, striking out here on the chroming. Anybody got a place they like that I can contact for a quote?

heres a few pics of my sctcarts mulder badge, its not for me sadly but a gift to my father-in-law for Christmas. Hes been a fan of the series since it first premiered so I thought this would blow his mind.
Im going to end up getting another for myself lol

I was thinking that the badge was probably from later in the series, after production moved to California? If you look at screen shots, especially once Doggett and Reyes are introduced, there's a lot of "variety" in both the cards and the badges - I think production used what they had left from Canada, but the supplemented with a different look to the card and badges that were not the Canadian made shield.

This badge looks very close to the badge that was used in the Stallone film 'Eye See You' - there was a pic on the Prop Store archives site I believe.

But the price....yow.

I was thinking the same thing Cody until I read in the description that it was an earlier version that should have the Canadian shield. I know when the production was moved down to Hollywood they used diferent sets of cards which were supposeldy barcoded on the back??? and more readily available stock fed shields.
Out of interest has anyone done the original opening credits versions of Mulder & Scully creds, they would be pretty cool? They were very similar to the Mancuso FBI creds but with the half card in.

I've got a set in my personal collection I put together years ago. The only real difference to the standard set I produce is there's a little more info on the lower warrant card agent ID number, etc. - just pulled it from screen shots - the badge, upper card, pic and sigs are all the same.

You know, that auction badge could be one of the ones from the very first season - I know they were using stock badges for part of season 1, then had the Canadian shields produced. The card pics changed all the time in the first season, as well as the hanging badge pics - the card pics got more consistent around season 2-3 - they went to the classic pic you see in the credits all the time, and it ends up on the credentials by about season 2 - which is the curious thing about that auction set - early badge, but post Canadian shield ID pic?

The wallet itself looks to be consistent with the build style of the screen used wallets.

Paul- I think the barcode thing you referred to was on the back of the hanging badges - first time we see it is when Doggett has his hanging badge reversed when he's introduced in Season 8. I think they probably went ot using them as a back print thing on the hanging badges made after that. I've not heard of the wallet cards having anything on the reverse side.

Gee, can you tell I'm obessesed with this prop? Yeesh.
