The thing I find funny is that the original Wolvie jacket is a 60's-70's style leather jacket. It would've been fine leaving it the same. A man who has worn the same jacket for 50 years would bd pretty cool.
You're definitely not the only one who thinks this is odd. It's the production team including Singer who want to solidify the 70's feel with the clothes. Remembering that the costume is part of the character and should reflect the times, but at the same token Logan character doesn't really apply to this film idealogy either with the constant change of times but lack of aging. It's almost like Logan keeps up with the fashion and seems like a fashionista in the end instead of a gruff mutant who ages slowly and would give two $hits about the latest trends from Milan.
And about another inexpensive vendor....
Not out of the realm of possiblity. Choices will be available in the near future...
More to follow as it arrives.
