Cool, it has an "Aussie Flap" like mine and I think the Vanson X-0 has that too. Does anyone know how we know that the screen used jacket had an "Aussie Flap"? I'm pretty sure you never see the X-O's cuffs unzipped in the movie. I'm just curious.
Here is my jacket (wolverinejacket.com), Logan's Closet's X-O, and Hugh's Screen used jacket, just for to compare.

I honestly only see a slight dip on the jacket in the movie, not a pronounced dip like the Vanson pictured, I could be wrong though. I have seen some Vanson's online without the larger dip, it might just be eyes playing tricks on me. Is there any pictures we know of that shows the X-O without Hugh wearing it, like some production photos? Adding a dip on the WJ.com jacket would make it more screen accurate, but it is not a huge difference.
View attachment 280457Best pic I could find at the moment. Clearly shows the dip in it and it's decent. This is what mine looks like. Take into account multiple jackets made and there probably are a couple with less dip, probably stunt versions.
Development of the XO jacket was done by me (Dan) off pre-production and production pictures, leaks and non-leaks. I also had Hugh's sizing specs from reliable sources on the first three movie jackets. I used the same methods in developing exacting details of other jackets I have created with vanson and other companies. I did not have access to a screen used jacket during development (that would've cut my development time down considerably). I had one prototype built, then made adjustments to be exact as possible (by) combining the aspects across the board of various stunt jackets and heroes on Hugh. Some details were confirmed by a friend working on the reshoots/additional photography, seeing various jackets in person, both stunt and hero. And later after my jacket was released, it eventually made it to folks that dealt with the originals and they declared how close it was.
Am I crazy for hating the XO jacket because the movie was so terrible? I just don't want to be reminded of it!
X1 for me!
Okay, thanks for the info on the original. Yeah it got way more attention than I thought it would. I was just commenting based on how that one jacket on that site. I realize there are X-O Vanson's with the correct dip, it is probably just that one jacket. It is just the only pic I could find of the back of the Vanson at the time. Sorry for any confusion.OK, the whole dip thing for you is based on that one pic on Dan's site? Seems this got a lot more attention than needed. Vanson is pretty calculated with their patterns once set so there isn't much variance from buyer to buyer.
Of course a few of us have gone over this at filmjackets.com as well as with Dan personally while being developed. To clarify, Vanson never had access to the jacket. The access was from someone on set who took measurements. Photos would have been a problem.
