Who did you contact at Heron? I tried sending emails to Jorge and Miguel last week, and the general address on their site a few days ago to try and place a possible order, and still have not gotten a response...

Alrighty! I gave Wade from wolverinejacket some additional postal info and he said my Origins jacket will be shipped shortly! 
I'm gonna mix & match movie gear and wear my Wolverine Raiders along with it Need to find some nice lookin flannels so I can layer up, this week's temps go from 51 to 48, nights will be down to 32!

Figured you guys might appreciate a few shots from the extended version of The Wolverine....
First up, his shoes, the ones he wears before the Wolverines he gets in Nagasaki...
And one of his kiss with Mariko, but see Yukio is carrying the box? (She doesn't have it when they board the plane sadly..)
And last, one badass looking Wolverine before he falls from the love hotel to the ground and gets battered by the Yakuza thugs waiting at the bottom...

I ordered an X1 and have just been using their normal questions@heronleather email address. Little slow in responding sometimes, but other times they were faster, so I don't think it's a consistent issue, more a consistenCY issue.
Did you go with the thicker leather version?
When did you initially contact them?

I initially contacted them in early September, with my official "yes I want one, here are measurements, send me an invoice" type thing on Sept 14. Yes, I got the thicker leather, standard pattern, no underarm gussets; $350. (The thicker leather brings it from their standard fashionweight price up to $300, and any customization to the jacket - even just custom sizing - adds the extra $50)
If it's as nice as SuperDrool's X2 in fit and finish, I'll consider that money well spent. I am worried about the fit, though, since I literally have ZERO jackets that fit me to compare, so I had to use my body measurements and a couple of other garments to compile the measurements. I sent everything to Heron along with pics of me, so hopefully that will work out.

The pricing seems about the same as 1BAT4U and Rdmaul paid for theirs a couple of years ago, just after SuperDrool worked with them. Does that include shipping costs? SuperDrool, 1BAT4U, and Rdmaul were all very pleased with their X2 jackets, so they do have a good track record going for them
I am a little surprised it took them 2 months to make it for you, considering that their patterns are all set and everything. I thought their turnaround time was quicker than that... I am trying to get in contact with them, I am considering a custom sized X2 in the thicker leather.
I'm looking forward to seeing some pics and hearing your impressions of it when you get it!!

I think the first few weeks were trying to really nail down the measurements and pattern. I had originally asked for straight sleeves instead of precurved, but then found that would be a bit of a pain and delay it further. The price didn't include shipping (another $30 or so I think) tho.

I called out those boots when the first images of him as a bum came out a few pages back
. But it's good to know that we can see the boot as a whole now since we already knew they were engineer boots. How did you get these screens by the way?

I play DVD's in my PC, and use the viewer screen to take the image...It's cleaner than taking photos of my TV with my phone...

I do wear it every now and then but no reactions, same with my OLF X3. I do however always do with my Vanson XO.

Ohh that Wolverine persona really kickin in & forgetting stuff LOL. I Googled around and found similar styles, but most of em have rubber soles. My dad has a brown coat with fur lining, buuut its actually closer to Kramer's coat from Seinfeld in style and color LMAO! I posted a pic wearing it on FB, split screen to Wolverine in his coat, and the general population still enjoyed how it looked compared to the one in the movie

Wolverine 6" Raider boots - those are the right ones, even with the sole. I've asked around and own a pair myself and they are correct.

Nah, we're talking about the boots I posted above..Not the Wolverine boots...Those are set and we know those...But the boots in the photo I posted weren't so clearly seen until now..
