Wolverine all day baby! Jackets, belts, claws, oh my.

Well, I'm back to say that it's been like a month since I sent measurements, pics and my deposit to Heron and I've heard nothing at all - I don't even know if they started the damn jacket. Two emails to them in the past week, we shall see...

Edit: update from Heron - should be done in a little over a week. Pretty excited!

So how long does Wolverinejacket.com take to process before shipment? I ordered on Monday, I'm excited, but not impatient... yet LOL

My body from the bone in my neck to my navel is 20 inches, from my neck bone to the below the belt is about 22 inches. Also when I put my jacket on the length is shorter than when it is laying flat. Laying flat it is 27 inches, measuring it while I'm wearing it is about 26.5 inches. I'm thinking that the body measurements should be different than the jacket measurements, I could be wrong though. I just don't understand how my body measurements and jacket measurements can vary that much, it doesn't make sense. lol

I don't measure to the navel but from that spot on your neck to where you want the jacket to go on your back. I measured my wolverine jacket and from the jackets bottom end, to the spot on my neck, the jacket that matches the on spot and is the 27" that the measurements sheet says it is. You could judge the length based one what you currently wear along with where you want the jacket to end at.

A few ish weeks I think, 3 maybe. It has been awhile and I can't remember back to when I got my jacket.
 
Just got my danson origins jacket which is very cool thanks to inlikeflynn.
The leathernext is sadly going (hopefully)
I thought I'd take the opportunity to take pictures of both next to each other
Ps although the leathernext looks in the picture to have a dip it doesn't

Alright, I'm getting finally ready for a Logan Jacket. There's loganscloset and there's Heron. that's the choices I'm looking at. I'm aware of the design and quality between the two. I know that the loganscloset jackets are vanson and built like a ***** house. But I also know that supposedly the Heron's can be made to motorcycle thickness.
Probably won't go for the traditional colours as, though I love the Logan look and want the same design, I want it to be my own in the end (i.e. I plan to wear this jacket as my personal motorcycle jacket).
Looking for an x1 or 2.
Ideas and thoughts on quality, etc? Including cost and best customer service. I've heard complaints on both.

I've had a few wolverine jackets currently have a heron x1, leathernext (same as wolverinejackets) origins and a logans closet origins.
Firstly the x1 is a fashion leather thickness but is a really nice jacket it has a great distressed look but I'd never wear one on a motorcycle lol.
I looked into getting a heron x-2 like super drools they replied in a few days but I didn't take it any further.

My leathernext is a great jacket it has pockets for CE armour which I think is important for the motorcycle. It's a decent jacket and looks good when on.
It's got some weight to it and I would be happy wearing it on a bike.

The logans closet is just awesome it is very heavy but in a good way the leather is really thick and construction is second to none.
I managed to get mine used which was awesome as I didn't have to wait the up to 16 months some people have waited. That being said I would order one straight from there as I know what I would be getting.
Also the x3 has armour capability and fan did a hybrid jacket which was an x3 design and features from an x-1 so flexibility is there.

I've always liked the idea of a wolverine jacket in. Black and red would be cool

I think the cost is directly linked to quality of jacket :)

I think I'll go with these measurements.
Chest- 43 in
Shoulder- 19.5 in
Sleeves- 26 in
Length- 27 in
Just going by my measurements and what my jacket measures. I added just a little more to the chest since the seamstress measured it at 40.5 in. I'm just going by my jacket for the length and sleeves.

It's weird that it isn't explained whatsoever. Just "Interesting".

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't curious as hell to see what jackman looks like in it though.

That is almost the Medium size except in the chest. I think what you have come up with will fit you good.
 
Thanks Soldier for all the help! I just ordered it, so we'll see how it fits in a few weeks. Really looking forward to wearing it!
 
That is awesome commonbub, it looks a lot like the movie's. My grandfather wore a similar winter jacket to the one in the movie. Hobo.png
Do you wear your 'The Wolverine' coat often in public? If so what kind of reactions do you have?
 
Aww I wish those fur coats had BIN. I found a denim vest to wear underneath my leather jacket, $25 at Hot Topic of all places haha
