Wolverine all day baby! Jackets, belts, claws, oh my.

My mistake on the pic. Sorry about that. Did he wear any wigs on X2?

I guess you haven't been reading the thread much huh? He wore a wig at the beginning and end which were both pick up scenes.

How can you mistake this as a wig? I clearly see scalp. :)

I second that. Its extremely clear to me which scenes in X2 are wigs (when his hair looks ridiculous). I definitely do not think X1 was a wig, I see scalp too ;).

As far as I know He never wore a wig in X1. Only false sideburns, which throughout filming became his own by the end of principal photography.
If I'm not mistaken, this famous bar scene was actually towards the end. I think I remember Hugh was taken on board last and late into filming, so he didn't have time to physically prepare for the part, so if you notice his physique is much better in the cage fight then when he is running through the basement halls of the mansion.

Not much time to read through this many pages. Most of X1 appeared like a wig to me. Are you saying it's not? To get that amount of volume is really hard with gel or spray ( I know as I have very similar hair). It weighs down too much and winds up like X2.

But on X1 some scenes scream wig. Would've made it more manageable for shooting as well.

I'm saying in X1 it wasn't a wig. In all of X3 it was, in the beginning and end of X2 it was, and in XO it was Hugh's natural hair, and for posterity we'll include XFC the mutant hunting scene (from what I gathered on my bluray) was also Hugh's natural hair.
It's always possible to gain whatever volume needed to achieve for a certain look or part, because a wig will only fool the audience some of the time. I'd like to think Hugh had an excellent hair stylist as well as costumer...hell...he had a great film crew period to pull off that character. :)

Encased, that was NOT a wig in X1. It's EASY to get your hair to look liie that...That's if you have the amount he does. I do and I have no prob getting it like that.

I've been doing some claw reasearch lately and came across this awesome article/interview with James Gawley aka "Jimmy Claws", the creator of the Wolverine Movie Claws!

Part 1 - Designing the claws and the building the effects claws
Kris Abel's Tech Life | Making Wolverine

Part 2 - Wearable Claws

I don't think this has been posted in this thread yet.

And you thought Logan had funny looking hair!

I love the weird X1 claw details from when he gets stretch out in the train-

And the specialty claws for CG work are cool too-

I asked this in the junkyard claw run thread but does anyone know if the claw design/size from the x films is the same as the wolvie origins movie?

X-1 in the arena at the bar was probably my favorite. Honestly, it was that moment that sold me on the Jackman Wolvie...

This moment sold me also. And I have to admit....the entire Xmen first class was worth watching just for the scene with Logan. I about died watching that as I had no idea he had a cameo

New release date for Wolverine movie has been posted

7-26-13

via Fox

It's true that D.A. dropped out right? That kinda sucks as I felt he could've brought something incredible to the movies....something that I felt was highly lacking from the first wolvie movie.
