Wolverine all day baby! Jackets, belts, claws, oh my.

The Cyclops in that photo looks like he stole Icemans uniform. Doesnt the cyclops one have blue piping rather than white?

That Cyclops costume looks like an altered UD Wolverine suit. It may not be, but it seems of high quality. I see zipper vents on the back that doesn't jive with UD, but who knows. That's a horrible color choice for any X-Men character. White piping...wtf? :lol

I've not heard back from Jorge. I'll message him again.

She's STRIPELESS!!!!!!!!! (y)

The stripe (or lack thereof) is very deceiving. In some lights, it almost looks like it is still there. And yet sometimes, I can barely even see the "dye-less" portion. Its perfect to my eyes, so DONT pick it apart!!!!!!!! :shame:

Hi guys....and girls. The XO Dan does is a fantastic jacket. Well worth investing in. I've got some pics over at FJ as well, so check them out.

HP, that jacket is looking sweet! :cool

If Heron gets on the X-1 soon ill be a happy camper. I really don't have the cash for a Vanson, even though its what i ultimately want.

Anyone have any good pics of the Magnoli jackets compared to the others? I haven't heard a lot about these or seen many pics besides what is on his website. Just curious how the quality compares

Hey all, quick question. For all you guys who go to conventions and such as Logan, what do you do about your claws? Right now, Im using a self modified version of the XO plastic claws that ive cut down and rigged into fingerless gloves. I like this setup because its realistic looking and allows me free use of my hands, (mostly.) So I guess my question is to those of you that dont use a glove to attach the claws but rather use a grip bar of some kind. Does it get cumbersome gripping them all day? Do you only take one, or use both hands? If you dont want to be holding them anymore, what do you do with them? Claw holster?

This thread has gotten so long that it's hard to find all the good stuff you've seen/read before. Here are some pictures of the OLF (Original Leather Factory) X3 jacket. These are the best pics I've seen of the X3. I found these over at www.filmjackets.com and the pics belong to them.

You know, Struve, you're right: those are great pics of the jacket. It even looks like the biceps on that particular jacket are smaller than a lot of the others that were made. It's good that you specifically asked Milos to bring them in a bit. I have a good feeling about it!

I just sent Milos the pictures too. Hope he cuts the entire jacket just like the one in the picture. He told me earlier in the week that the jacket would be done soon. I hope he gets these awesome pics of his jacket before they go to cutting!

I was just wondering. Has Jorge from Heron been here since the old RPF url was stolen?

If not, does anyone know is he is aware of the new URL?

If not, someone with good contact info for him should let him know.

Nag - I have an aluminum grip set and a resin set... my aluminum set is what I primarily use, but will hopefully switch the the more comfy resin sometime this year once I get them a little more refined.
If you have the grip type setup to your hand well you can even eat, drink, and smoke cigars without taking them off...and I have demonstrated that a few times.
I wear the aluminum set all day long, and I would never call them comfy, and by the end of a weekend it looks like claws do come out of the space between my knuckles. Plastic and resin sets are way easier on the hands.
When I do take them off they both fit right into the inside pocket of my Logan's Closet Wolverine jackets. Vanson makes those pockets just the right depth to hold a full length claw set by chance. :)

Some pics that were requested over on fj.com of the end scene of X2 showcasing the jacket ( and another pearl snap paisley shirt ;) ) one last time.

I'm actually willing to be this scene with Scott was a later pick-up scene shot after initial wrap of the film. But who knows...
