Wow...the first female to hold interest in wearing an X-Jacket. I would love to see one in a womens cut. I think using an Icon or Blestaff brand jacket can be used for refence on how to properly alter this jacket and make it sexy, cool and formidable for riding. I might actually sketch this and see how it well it translate over. I see it doing so very well.
About Magnoli's X2, there are a lot of tweak and alterations still on the piping to make it more screen accurate. The cheaper version of goat is the same price as Dan's competition weight cow. So you do the math.
On how to train the leather sleeves to lay down.
Lay your jacket on a chair that the shoulders can bow/fall down over. Wet the shoulders, pressing down firmly, training the leather to overcome the pattern shape. I would do this once a day for about a week, and see where you stand. The leather can be molded to your shoulders as well when wet. It takes time, like training your hair to stay in a certain spot for a new hair doo. Same concept and it takes a little time to get there, as I did mine. Let me know how it comes out, Bowelrock.

Mole, I can definitely do a ladies fit, no problem there, and you aren't the first to ask for this style jacket in a ladies fit... also done the House jacket for the ladies.
No need to use a belstaff for reference and not sure why anyone would suggest that for the general public. I have proper ladies fit patterns to go from in the many womens jackets vanson already has done... to be honest, belstaff doesn't have a proper ladies cut for anyone larger than a small B-Cup, so their ladies line is very limited to the small breasted european & asian slim fit chics where as I can fit any glorious shape.
On the Magnoli version, get what you think you'll be happy with...if you have had his product in hand and he has nailed your fit then their you have it.
Personally I have had the Magnoli and the DavidYr1 X2s in hand, they are very similar and I passed on both of them deciding to build my own proper version. Magnoli's version was stitched together slightly better, but they both had the wrong fit, and sleeve types, along with Drool's mentioned adjustments needed to the piping/detail work. I have seen the Magnoli and DavidYR1 jackets show up for sale ultra cheap though second hand, so if you're holding out for a really good deal the used route may be the way to go with those.

Didn't know I was being that funny drool, there is always truth in my kidding... and on the ladies fit I am far from kidding. I've known a few girls who personally got a belstaff because they loved the style and had to size way up just to get it to zip due to chest size being the main issue, making it way off fit everywhere else. Just trying to make sure the general jacket buying public is not blowing their hard earned money on stuff that won't fit correctly.
BTW Drool and comonbub - how's this for fresh out of the box chocolate? And take a look to see if you notice the sleeve articulation I am talking about...the back sleeve seam are almost shooting directly out to the sides coming off the armhole and then curving way around and down. Also, no underarm gussets in this correct sleeve shape as they are not even needed.

Any plans on swapping the brown to the bottom and yellow suede to the top, as we recently found out on Patterson's jacket? I for one actually like the brown being the outside border, it secures the suede on better as there is less outside facing raw edge to snag. But that's just my opinion.

At the moment this is only a pipe dream. I don't ride so I can't justify spending that sort of money on a jacket. I'd love one... maybe I could sell one of my kids.

Mole - what are they going for on the black market nowadays? I have four, so could spare a couple.
Drool - metal gold... the color I liked the best for this one in person, and distresses to the right look for me. As for changing any details, Patterson has a nice jacket, but frankly I have yet to see two Bates versions of their own jacket look alike, so I will just be building them the way I saw the first one show up on screen. You have your X2 the way you want it, I have mine the way I want mine...if people like how my version turned out then that's fine by me and if they like how anyone else's turns out then that's fine too. No biggy, to each their own.

Dan, you met this character too? haha. Found his facebook and snatched this. I think he makes a living off of role playing Wolvie. He's wearing that one maker's jacket in some of these pics. I forgot the name but it has padding in the shoulders and is really thin. Shows how much quality Vanson puts in compared to that one.

So - what do we think they're going to do for the next wolverine movie? He won't have the same one from Origins because he left it behind before he went to that island and then lost his memory, he's not going to go back for his jacket - weird that he'd end up with another one that's similar but we all know he does.

One detail that really is standing out to me on Dan's vanson is how rounded the bottom of the jacket is at the back. It looks like all the Heron jackets so far are all flat at the back to match the front. That would definitely be a detail to add to the Heron jacket if possible.

Well yeah, Origins did suck incredibly hard but all of these films are supposed to be within the same universe. It essentially will be a sequel as Aronofsky had said when he was still attached that it was going to be taking place in Japan, therefore post-origins. We'll see though, I guess.
I'm looking forward to showing you guys how awesome I look in one of Dan's X2s when we get the thing off the ground
