Wolverine all day baby! Jackets, belts, claws, oh my.

I don't work in that particular office. And it's not illegal, we have permission.

Is the website down? I get nothing.

Works for me here in Japan.....Maybe the NSA is just messing about with you? Heheh....
And yep..."Permission" is a nice new header to file "anything we do is safe just because....." under, and I'm happy with that....LOL

Am I wrong in that wolverinejackets would be coming out with an X1? I thougt I read that somewhere.. ....
On their website I only see the Origins and I am not a big fan of that design....

Backstagejack, I havent heard about them making an X1. But I did email and ask them while asking for my XO update. Last week's update said my jacket was in production, I need it too, it snowed like 3 inches last nite!

edit: X1 info from Wade at Wolverinejacket:

"As for the X-1 jacket, though I do have a manufacturer to make it and all other Wolverine jackets that have ever appeared, it will take a year or so as I have to revamp the entire site first. And then get the jacket design spot on. So, it won't be real soon."

That's great news on your jacket!!!

Hopefully the X-1 etc do get into production soon. It's a good price for the XO and so far the reviews on the quality are great.

Yep received my tracking number as well! Hope it gets here before xmas! I wanted an X1 but being the XO was chronologically the 1st Wolverine jacket and a decent price I went with it lol

I've been interested in an X-1 from Wolverinejackets for a while. When and or if offered I will probably get one. For the most part. the Origins and X-1 jackets have the most notoriety and screen time, and are the most recognizable as wolverine.

Also remember, if you order from wolverinejackets, Use the promo code "Solider" to get $25 off your order.

Anyone going to be at C2E2 in Chicago in April? I will. Time to hit the weights again.

When I asked Wade at wolverinejacket.com about a X-1 in October he sent me this:
"Thanks for the inquiry.

Sorry but we are not planning to make any other jackets apart from the Origins jackets at the moment."

But, I am happy to hear that it may be a possibility now! I would definitely be interested in a X-1 from them. Wade is a great to deal with, he has great consumer service. Before I ordered my Origins jacket from him I contacted Heron and LC about a X-1 and never heard from them. I got my tracking number from Wade and I'm looking forward to getting my jacket!

Well, looking at it objectively it appears that even the professionals have the same issue as the hobbyists sometimes. We've all read the threads about a guy being late with updates or deliveries on the run of a prop; this is just the same thing with a more corporate face - Dan's jackets cost 2x what Heron's do but the actual interactions and CS are the same. It's just small teams and one-man operations. I am trying to remain non-angry about it myself since it wouldn't help, though today is pretty cold and windy and I could really use my X1 jacket right about now.

Have you received your jacket, or at least heard from someone at Heron yet?? I am looking forward to seeing some pictures and hearing what you think of it when you get it!

I still have not received a single response from all of the emails I have sent...

Jackman just said today he's really not sure whether the new wolverine sequel will be a go. He wants it a certain way and if not, it'll be a no for that one. I can't blame him either.

Yeah that would make sense, cant keep portraying a character if someone else wants it done the wrong way. I hope we get good suits for DoFP, XForce, and Apocalypse. XForce Logan needs a cowl for damn sure. Hooray my jacket should be here pretty dang soon! Hopefully tomorrow! :D! But its been snowy so I hope that doesnt slow down the shipping truck :eek

EDIT:what color are the Dockers pants? Rifle green? A few stores have the model but the color availability varies from store to store

Ok, so are the pants jeans or cargo?? I keep seeing rifle green in both of those styles???

"It's been a big week for X-Men news. Yesterday, X-Men: Days of Future Past director Bryan Singer announced - via Twitter - that X-Men: Apocalypse would be headed to theaters in 2016. It was then revealed that Simon Kinberg, writer and producer of the upcoming X-Men: Days of Future Past, has inked a three-year deal with the studio with the intention of developing a "Marvel-style" movie universe.

But what of individual character spinoff films? At the very least, we know that a third Wolverine film is in development. However, in a recent interview with Vanity Fair for the release of The Wolverine Blu-ray/DVD, Hugh Jackman said he may be nearing the end of his tenure as the character.

"I don’t know whether or not I will do this next movie," the actor said. "I am really proud of this movie and I am excited to develop something with [The Wolverine director] Jim Mangold from the beginning because that is a great ride. That’s exciting, to see what we come up with but I have a very high expectation of what it would need to be [for me to star in it] and if it doesn’t reach those, I won’t be doing it."

The film is still in the very early stages of development, according to the actor, so it's unclear how quickly Fox wants to move on this project. "No there is not [a script in place]," Jackman said, "but Jim Mangold and I were literally on the phone last night talking about ideas but there is no script and no writer yet so it’s a way off."

Jackman is 45, and with X-Men: Apocalypse, Jeff Wadlow's X-Force, and a possible Mangold-helmed third Wolverine-focused film in development, he could be looking at 5+ additional years of playing the immortal character. It doesn't sound as though the actor is entirely on-board with that notion. So the question becomes: Will Fox recast Wolverine? And if they do, will that character remain - essentially - the centerpiece of the X-Men cinematic universe?"

look what came in the mail while watching The Wolverine special features :D fits good, a tad bit tight in the sleeve area, but I hope it loosens up while breaking it in. The weight is excellent! A lot heavier than my fake X1 and fake X2 combined! Overall: awesomely badaas jacket. Edit: to those who wanna make some budget friendly claws, I might make a tut on how to make foam claws, EVA and foamboard versions. Hopefully in the next month or so
