Wolverine all day baby! Jackets, belts, claws, oh my.

Wow. Those claws both of you guys have done an outstanding job with the minute angles. It seems both are near spot on! I'm baffled as to why after 3-4 films they would alter a flawless design. But it doesn't matter as this is truth.
Looking forward to seeing a completed painted set on someone's hands. I refuse to acknowledge the overlap of the knuckles though.

Hey guys, have any of you seen or dealt with the X-1 Logan jacket from michaeljacksoncelebrityclothing.com? They have 'em there for a good price (since I'm on a budget) and you can get 'em tailor made. I just wanted to know if any of you have come across these jackets and what they are like in terms of quality. Thanks!!

I'm not sure...But I think those are Heron's jackets used in the photos? And perhaps a Wested as well? The X3? It looks remarkably similar to the Wested styling to me...

I dunno..Maybe not? But....

I wouldn't deal with them. I've not heard anything from them yet. I'll have to check with filmjackets.com first, to see if they are in the Hall of Shame, but if they were reputable, I'd already know about it.

They have already been identified as thieves, by stealing images from Heron and Wested. So I strongly suggest you steer clear of them!

Re: Ebay Wolverine jackets any good?

I am absolutely interested in UD tackling all 4 Wolverine jackets!! =)
Me too, I wished they would do another run of them. It would be nice to have another vendor for the Wolverine jackets. I had read on here that they were considering doing all 4 jackets, but I'm guessing they decided not to.

I believe they have licensed agreements from all the current production companies except from FOX. I'll verify but I think that's why they stopped the run. They wanted to be legit with all their products. Being backed by the company is a huge deal and major kudos when selling their product. Which is well deserved because they are sitting on top with their detailed designs, using the screen used material as reference. You can't deny that. :cool

I can't blame them for wanting to be legit and they make a great product from what I have seen. I hope one day they get a licenses agreement from Fox again and do a run of all 4 jackets. I respect their decision though.

Thanks a bunch for saving me from that one, Tony!! =)

Wolverinejacket.com is spending a lot of time on a web site redesign. I have been talking to Wade and if the new manufacturer works out, an X-1 jacket would be a big possibility. What works in it's favor is the design is not too far from the Origins jacket. Any fan boy should know the differences ;). Those are the two most wanted wolverine jackets, not many ask about the x-3 jacket (probably due to the fact the movie stunk) If you give it time and wait, I bet Wolverinejacket's will come out with a X-1. I would also be interested in one myself.

I sure hope so. Definitely gonna keep my fingers crossed as I am already impressed with the quality of the Origins jacket and would LOVE to see a great X-1. =)

Still poking at Heron for any responses. Hopefully something tomorrow.

Here is hoping that we see some pics of Heron's X-1 soon. I may be in the market to buy one if they have improved and it is more SA (heck, all they gotta do to satisfy me is taper the stripe on the waist a little more, and ensure the zipper is on the left) =P Tony, I'll probably PM you when I begin that process as I know you've had dealings with them before (LOVE the X-2!!) and I could use some experienced help.

I contacted Jorge to remove the underarm vented football patches from the request that transferred from my X2 design. Aside from that I see no other issues from the last set of photos of the X1 I saw.

I'll see what thicknesses Jorge can snag to work with. His standard fashion thickness that I personally own from two separate X1 jackets that were given to me from Indy Blues. Which is thin enough for fall/winter layering as well as summer wear. But I should know sometime next week about the updated pattern without the underarm football gussets.

Which photos were these? Not the last ones posted here. Can you put those up?

Finally something I can help with instead of asking questions! Heron do the X-1 and Origins jackets and they are identical to what you see in the film.

Here are pics they sent me:

Both look identical to me. There is also an eBayer who is a reseller of Heron jackets (though I am buying direct through Heron and talking to Jorge right now).

X-1

Origins

If you noticed on the new design, (focusing at the armpit area) there are still the football gussets in this pattern of this particular jacket. I've asked him to remove it from the X1 pattern, as it's not screen accurate.

From the looks of that x1 because I got my XO before the film was even released all they did was use the X-1 jacket and added more leather to the back and front might explain why it's a looser fit I suppose
