how are the shoes to comfy sp1derman? they are on my list of shoes im look at if i cant get a pair of CAT vinson boots (looking for some good hard wearing boots with abit of style i can also wear in the office)

its incredibly shallow it like the was a thin layer of leather on top of suede leather :/ going to a shie specialist today see how much the kits cost

I love them they are very comfy only problem is I'm so conscious after the firstly nick to avoid them getting damaged again

Get a tub of Pecards and a boot brush and you'll be fine...That stuff, brushed in will easily cover over (and protect, more importantly) the nicks and cuts you get from daily wear....
They usually sell mink oils or the like at boot stores, and those may well work just as well, but I prefer the Pecards simply because I know it works well with leathers and can predict the effect it has better thank the mink oil....I also suspect it protects the leather better, so....Just my own personal choice..
But you wouldn't go wrong either way...It'll also darken the leather a touch and make it look "richer", if that makes sense...

Hey guys,
Does anyone know what the x-men uniforms were based on for the films, more specifically Wolverines. Obviously its like a biker suit but were they totally custom made ?
Ive got the claws, ive got a leather jacket, but im going to a convention in may and was seriously thinking about doing the black uniform with the yellow piping instead this time.
Theres a few on ebay, im not sure of the quality though and the ones from thailand dont look very authentic, the X symbols either side of the neck look far too big etc

It was indeed....Dan at Logan's Closet does them...He's been rather busy recently, but send him an email and I'm sure he'll sort you out...Mine is a favourite to wear..

It looks like there is one, but probably not larger than the one he wears in X-Men III eh? Certainly no Indian's head buckle......

thanks for the advice on the boots guys got some pecards in the post i also have a wolverine buckle but can t find anywhere where i can still get a belt for it does anyone still make them?
still trying to figure out how to do some retractable claws
Superdrool use to make them but I haven't seen him post in a long time. I have one that I've worn for 2 years and it is quality.

I think Superdrool is doing another tour right now....He's still about and pops up sometimes, but mostly he's busy fighting so not been free so much....
Wade Egan is another option....Although Wade is lowering his work rate currently and taking less orders on...Mine is Wade's, and stunning stuff...But he might not be able to make it for you...Send him an email and ask maybe?
Either way, he'll take a while to do it, so be prepared for a decent wait...
Or you could try Magnoli's site, although Magnoli uses Wade, so unless he some sitting around that'd be about the same as ordering direct from Wade himself....

Did everyone just stop going with Heron? - haven't seen anything about them or from them in awhile; I thought theirs were the best for the money and have been trying to fit one into ye olde budget.

finally picked up some good claws from darkside501, put together one of them as soon as the package arrived lol. Once I finish my bulk Ill be picking up a heron jacket

My only issue with them is that it's insanely hard to get a hold of them. I originally decided to go with a Heron, but their complete lack of communication turned me off from them. I tried to contact them throuhg three different emails for over two months with only one response that was never responded to after. The customer shouldn't have to chase after a business, y'know?
