I'll admit, that costume would scare me if I saw you coming down a dark alley toward me. The effect is spectacular for what really is a simple construction process. Not to downplay the work involved of course, but more like, "Why the hell didn't I think of that?"

The Ronin- the costume building process was far from easy, if it were easy i would of made a lot more things this way ... but i think i will give constructing with these particular items a rest... James Kenobi 1138 - for the photoshoot there are action shots with medieval batman coming soon .. i will post all of those photos as a group and mention what page it is on in the title of this tread ;> to everyone else ..thanks so much ....and TACOS lol that was actually a nuts stand .... i figured that area suited me well

Right. I'm not trying to say that it wasn't labor intensive. The finish quality more than shows the time spent. I'm just saying that the particular technique to create such an organic effect is achieved with such simple materials and a touch of ingenuity.

If it were easy, it wouldn't make the end result so satisfying.

That came out great! You looked amazing! (y)thumbsup

Do you have any closeup pics of the D9 pieces attached? That looked good too!

I lurk here sometimes and just found out I had a picture with you. You looked great in that costume in person BTW. See you next year!

SUPARNOVAX ! thank you! what an awesome picture ... me and steven were actually dieing every time we saw a bane because the night before we watched the new south park episode with the ups man and all of the banes .. i just saved this picture i am going to throw it in my album on facebook

.... complete magic ... and yelling at it ... i pretty much yelled everything on early in the morning before leaving nj and driving out to ny haha .. yelling and spirit gum .. i found that spirit gum worked best with the thigh pieces by first applying a thin layer to the prosthetic ...then stamping it on the skin real quick and painting a thin layer on the skin in the shape of that prosthetic ....afterwards waiting a few minutes till it was tacky ..then slapping it on .... taking a piece of cloth and tieing it over that area to hold it down secure .... after finishing stevens makeup and prosthetic pieces un tieing my legs and it was stuck pretty solid and lasted through me climbing ...running ....jumping around .... rushing ..smacking into them with my arms .. the ones on my face have a build up of latex so they stuck really well once spirit gum was added ...they had so much to catch onto

I went to NYCC with a goal to see our very own Error in all her glory and see first hand how her awesome work shines...

I failed miserably. :cry

Worse is to find out a buddy of mine did see Error and captured her amazing costume and beauty himself !
