Right. I'm not trying to say that it wasn't labor intensive. The finish quality more than shows the time spent. I'm just saying that the particular technique to create such an organic effect is achieved with such simple materials and a touch of ingenuity. The Ronin- the costume building process was far from easy, if it were easy i would of made a lot more things this way ... but i think i will give constructing with these particular items a rest...
.... complete magic ... and yelling at it ... i pretty much yelled everything on early in the morning before leaving nj and driving out to ny haha .. yelling and spirit gum .. i found that spirit gum worked best with the thigh pieces by first applying a thin layer to the prosthetic ...then stamping it on the skin real quick and painting a thin layer on the skin in the shape of that prosthetic ....afterwards waiting a few minutes till it was tacky ..then slapping it on .... taking a piece of cloth and tieing it over that area to hold it down secure .... after finishing stevens makeup and prosthetic pieces un tieing my legs and it was stuck pretty solid and lasted through me climbing ...running ....jumping around .... rushing ..smacking into them with my arms .. the ones on my face have a build up of latex so they stuck really well once spirit gum was added ...they had so much to catch onto
