thanks for being snarky .... a name is the least of my problems when all my belongings are covered in sewage ... point of me bringing it up in this thread was , all my work in progress will be at a standstill for some time and i wanted to inform anyone following my projects . ... .. .. dot dot dot

that really sucks Error, sorry about your stuff... I know it's the time put into it all more than the $$ that is the biggest toll-taker.

I apologize, my snakyness was unintended, I hope that you can recover some of your work and start over.

Hey Error, don't let it get you down. You're fine and that's the important thing. While losing one's stuff sucks, it's just stuff. You can always get more stuff. And getting new stuff is always fun.

Just make sure to get your butt to NYCC, even if you don't go in costume. Just focus on the positive things and keep your chin up!

Error, I'm also a victim of hurricane Irene, and I lost most of my costume supplies last year in a flood, so I can sympathise. All I can say is, You pick yourself up,dust off and try, try again :) I'm also going to NYCC, with my Transforming Bumblebee, I hope to see you there, as witchblade or not. If you need any advice on the arm armor, PM me and I'll try to help. Good luck eather way...I'm days away from Power or hot water as well, thank god work has power :)

thanks guys , ill def try to show up to nycc ... ill let everyone know how things settle after the move ...besides i really wanna see a transforming bumblebee suit that sounds awesome! even if i do not come suited up ill be sure to bring a camera :>

I have lurked here a while and I have followed your threads and wanted to say that your make up is fantastic, your costumes are stellar, and your personality seems pretty awesome. I'm sorry to hear about the bad situation you are faced with. Keep your head up and hang in there and I'm sure you can make it through.

Just remember, it's stuff. Stuff can be remade. I find better the second time around. move, remake stuff, be happy.

The experience you've earned bulding everything will never be erased, and so when you rebuild and build new stuff, it will all be that much better than what came before.

Exactly. Glad you're okay though. What state are you in? It's not the same, but a couple years back my apartment was broken into and they smashed some stuff. I just figured it was just an opportunity to build the stuff again, but better.

I was sorting some old comics last night, found a random witchblade issue, and thought of this thread.

Looking at your sketch and the artwork in the comic it struck me that they could be combined. Take the classy dress and build the metal bikini/armor over it. It looks like the full armor could be used from the head down to mid hip without interferring with the dress.

Just a thought, good luck with the build. :thumbsup

alright , i am re-trying this , got all of my supplies and a good portion of my project recorded thus far ..stay tuned for the aftermath lol
