lol i do not think i can get anything warm over all the armor ...and all the damn hair i have hahah i am going to be miserable outside and yeah dressing all three days

Why, just today, I was cruising through the website where she got her scales from. I would never have known where that was, if it weren't for her. She got my brain cranking! :lol

i love the ring lord.com .. i do not like intricately polishing each separate scale from the ring lord .... but SOOO CHEAP! i can not wait to order tons more from them

Yeah, I was equally impressed with the prices. Plus, everything you need is conveniently at the one site. One stop shopping!

Now, I need to figure a feasible application for next year's costume, as it will take quite a long time to weave all that stuff together. If I do hit the jackpot with a good idea, it's on!!

As for the dirt; I saw the before/afters...
I'm sure your hands hurt now.

I wonder why you didn't go with any of the other materials? Price wasn't that much different, and would have been a "no scrub death" solution...

those caught my eye ..and once scrubbed they looked exactly how i imagined they should look for this costume .. i did not want them too shiny and sparkling i want to look like i crawled out of a jungle and into comic con that would leave these scales water damaged and worn a bit .... since i did not have the time to really break em in i figured i would get them like this .... did not realize they were the ones sitting in a bag for about 50 years waiting for nicci to come along LOL

Very late to the party but I was going back through this thread because I thought I might find out about your medical issues that you've mentioned in a video or two and in posts, (sorry I'm nosey). When I did that I noticed you were having some issues with your photo editing. I know gimp is free and all... but you may want to try paint.net it's made by the same guys who made Windows paint if memory serves but has a lot more functions... it's like a toned down version of Photoshop and.... it's free!!! Oh and of course awesome work (that's a general statements because I keep catching your work here, Youtube etc... so just generally, great work!)

Looks great...
The accent scales along the bottom edges frames it out nicely, and adds a little downforce to eliminate that slight curl you were getting.

Don't look like you might be packing any more! :lol

You still adding more feathers?

thanks everyone i really like the added weight of the scales on the under leather even if its windy ...and i know it will be horrible cold out .... the leather will hug onto my body well enough to stay in place and even if it moves i am covered underneath ..so i can run in it ..climb around and be my weird self ... THIS THING WAS A LOTTA WORK! and i almost wish i had a huge animal pelt or something i should of stopped at stevens dads house and picked up a deer pelt since he hunts hahaha ...and some venison for a nice stew
